Everyone had a mark on the inside of their wrist. Their soulmate mark. It glowed when they were around their soulmate.

Ned had already found his soulmate, it was Betty Brant. His mark was a camera and glowed teal when they met each other. Her's was of a swivel chair (lolllll).

MJ had hers glow a deep purple when she met Shuri, and hers was of a shoe. On Shuri's wrist, it was a notebook with a pencil.

Peter's had a potato. He didn't know their color yet because he hadn't met his soulmate yet. He wondered if his soulmate's was a web or a spider. Or a Spider-Man mask? He was curious.

After school that day, Peter was going to meet Mr. Stark in his lab, he had someone there he wanted him to meet.

~fast forward to the tower~

Peter took the elevator up to the avenger's living room and put his stuff down in the laundry room (they didn't actually use it for laundry, but it was where they kept their shoes and stuff) before heading over to the kitchen for a quick snack. May was working down in the medbay, as Tony had convinced Peter and her to move into the tower and gave May a job in the hospital floors of their residence.

He was walking into the living room, stopping right behind the couch when he jumped scared Sydney, who was sitting and talking with Wanda and Evie. Sydney and Evie were new to the Avengers and were his age. Evie had water powers while Sydney had light powers.

"Hey, papaya! Wazzup?" Sydney said, turning around, her brown braids brushing Peter's hands that were still on her shoulders. The four of them: Peter, Sydney, Evie, and Wanda; were more like siblings than friends. They were all close in age, and being the youngest Avengers, stuck together all the time.

Evie had chestnut brown hair and water powers. Sydney had light powers, and Wanda had chaos magic. They had been having an in-depth discussion about musicals, and Sydney and Evie had agreed that Wicked was better than Hamilton, while Wanda said that Matilda was her favorite.

"I was wondering whether or not One Direction would ever get back together," Peter said, launching them back into another deep discussion, letting himself slip away to the kitchen for a snack.

"Hey Peter, is your mark really a potato?" Clint asked, sitting on top of the fridge, as Peter opened a cupboard and grabbed some boxes of Poptarts for the lab.

"Yes, Birdbrain, his is," Natasha said, rolling her eyes. "Now leave him alone or I'll wreck your nest in the vents," she threatened. Clint jumped off the fridge with a yelp and ran to the nearest vent before jumping in.

"Thank you, мама паук," Peter said gratefully.

"Of course, маленький паук. Now run along, Tony has a surprise for you in his lab. And I think you'll like it." Natasha wiggled her eyebrows before ushering Peter out the kitchen and into the elevator.

Friday took Peter to the lab.

"Hey, Mr. Stark! I brought more Poptarts for us to snack on later! I'm putting them by my desk, in the second drawer on the right!" Peter let his mentor know as he walked over to his desk, opening and closing the drawer after shoving the boxes into it.

"Kid, when are you going to call me Tony? It makes me feel old," he said back.

"You are old," a new voice retorted.

Peter walked over to Mr. Stark from across the lab when he saw a kid about his age with blond hair and blue eyes that sparkled in the light. All of the sudden, his wrist started glowing red. Peter's eyes widened as he stared at his now glowing potato soulmate mark in shock.

A few feet in front of him, Harley's wrist started glowing red too, his spider-web-shaped mark lighting up his face. Harley was the first to recover from his state of shock, and he looked up at Peter.

"Well, Harley, this is Peter, Peter this is Harley. And I guess you guys are soulmates. I'll talk to you both later! Bye, and don't have too much fun," Mr. Stark said, smirking. He left the two there staring at each other.

"Hey...So, you're my soulmate, darling. Nice to meet you," Harley said, holding his wrist out for Peter to look at. "My mark was a spider web. I was wondering why? And what's yours for me?"

"Um, mine is a potato."

"Well, that makes sense. Are you Spider-Man?" Harley asked, raising an eyebrow at his newfound soulmate. Peter just nodded, before snorting, and then they both started laughing.

"Nice to meet you!" Peter exclaimed once they both calmed down.

"Nice to meet you too!" Harley responded, before pulling Peter in for a hug.

They got to know each other and found that they liked a lot of the same things. They talked about Star Wars and snuggled together while watching A New Hope.
