Chapter 2 : The Protector

I was taken to a small room with only a bed and a chair inside....the one that was to guard me sat down on the chair .

I sat on the bed my hands still tied.

"So....what's your story then....why are you here working for that asshole"

"You shouldn't call royals that they're very powerful"

"Do i look like I care.......well....go on then....what makes a person want to kill innocent people like you all do...killing is wrong"

"Says the one who's job is to do exactly that"

"That's different I have no choice"

"Well neither do we.....if we want to survive we need blood"

With that he stood up and in a second I was against the wall.He held me up against it, I was unable to move, his strength was too strong.He revealed his fangs and plunged them at my neck.I closed my eyes, preparing for the sharp pain that would take place next.He paused.

"Go on then just do it....finish the job"I said trying my best not to cry.I could feel them touch my skin but they did not pierce it instead he pulled away.

"No....this is all wrong.....I apologise"

"Do you miss it is that it....do you dislike what you are.."?

"Of course I do....I didn't choose to be one of them....I had a girlfriend Nadia.She got bitten and then she turned me.I never truly excepted her apology....in my eyes she was now evil....I watched her hunt humans....kill them...drink from them.....I hated her for it.She became mad and began to take more than she needed....she was killed by a Slayer right infront of me,...and in that moment before she died I saw her...the Nadia I loved and not the monster she had become.Out of pure rage I killed the slayer I regret it....I hate it.I will not kill you..note when you cannot fight back....it is unfair...that is how I have lived since, I will never again kill another living thing"

"Look I'm sorry that that's happened to you...but what I don't understand is if you feel that way about everything why work for him....Prince Michael and his father are constantly killing people for sport"

"He plans on turning you"Luke explains.

"What the fu....."I could finish as Luke had covered my mouth with his hand.

"Ssshhhhhh"He said putting his finger to his lips "..if you don't agree to it he'll have you killed"

I pulled his hand away.

"I'd rather be killed then be turned into something I'm not"

I could feel myself falling apart....I was either going to die or become a monster......I had no way of escape and I am being forced to have that idiots kids....

"Why...why me....please I beg of you....let me go....find an actual vampire to marry and fuck with him....ok....I can't be a vampire....their exactly what I have been trained to hate and kill....I wouldn't be able to live with myself"I began to cry.

I stopped shouting.

"Who...who would he kill"?

"All of the teenagers that were taken....he took them to increase our numbers but he said that if I didn't do as he said....he'd kill them during the transformation process....at first I declined I told him I wanted no part in any of this...that was when he killed 3 of the teens we took from Beijing...he had their bodies dumped in Germany.....I couldn't have more people die like that so I agreed to his wishes.....I am weak I know that....I just couldn't have more die"
