"Wake up....Emmeline.....please"!!!!!
I woke to Alyssas cry for help.
When I opened my eyes she was kneeling beside me where I lay.
"Are you ok"?
"Something's.......something's wrong.....there's....there's...vampires everywhere outside......people are being bitten"Alyssa cried.
I got up and ran to the window.
It was happening.....what I had predicted was happening.
The new borns.......they were killing everything in they're paths.
"Oh my god"I muttered turning back to Alyssa.
"Alyssa.......we can't stay here......we need to get away right now"
"Why.....Emmeline....what's happening"?
"Our worst nightmare"
I took her hand and ran out of the hotel building into the chaos outside.
Fires were burning down the buildings around us........vampires were killing anyone they could get their hands on.
"Jesus Christ"Alyssa screamed as a crowd of people began to stampede toward us.
"Alyssa follow me"I ordered.
I ran down the street Alyssa closely behind....I needed a car to drive.
I scanned the street looking for a car to use.
Finally sitting right in the middle was a mini van.
"It had to be a mini van didn't it....why is it never a Ferrari"I complained as we both got into it.
The keys were gone.
"Oh no what now"Alyssa panicked.
"Give me a bobby pin"
"What do you mean a bobby pin"
"Your a teenage American girl you have a bobby pin...either in your hair or in your pocket just in case"
Alyssa pulled one from her hair and tossed it to me.
"Quickly their getting closer"She screeched.
"Come on baby....work for me"I begged trying to pick the lock.
"Em....their nearly here"
"Work you son of a...."
And with that the engine shook awake.
I put the pedal down and we drove off down the street.
"Where are we going to now"?
"Alyssa I'm sorry but I can't take you home...it isn't safe....I will be taking you to the facility I trained in they'll take care of you there I promise you"
"But....my...my...dad....my....my....mom"
"I'm sorry but you have to do as I say"
With that she stopped talking as we drove out onto the highway
