Ashton and I had sneaked over to the furniture store across the road.......we took 2 mattresses for the girls....and a couple of blankets and pillows.We also broke into the hardware store where we took tools for us to use to fix the generator and get electricity back into the apartment.
When we got back......we put down the two mattresses in the attic each with a pillow and a blanket to keep them warm.
"What about you guys"? Jo asked me as we showed the girls to where they'd be sleeping
"Sleep for us is unnecessary.....we can if we wish but there's really no point"
"Don't you get tired"?
"No......we're born hunters......killers.....sleep isn't what we're born to do"
We left the two girls for the night...........
Emmelines P.O.V
"We're lucky Em, a lot of people in this city haven't got such a luxury of a place to sleep"Jo said taking off her jacket and trousers.
"I know....we are lucky"
"So what's up with you and the quiet one.......I can see it you know, the way he looks at you......the way you look at him"
"Oh......it's nothing, really it's nothing"
"C'mon Em, I'm not an idiot ok I see these things"
"Look you can't tell anyone........especially Michael......Luke would be killed.....I cant have that happen"
"I won't say anything.......well....come on details"
"Oh god do we have to act like we're back in middle school...."
"C'mon Em, I'm interested"
"Well....we've just made out a little ......nothing more"
"It's cute.......do you even know what age he is"?

"Into younger guys huh"?
"2 years is hardly anything"
"Fair enough.........just make sure you don't get hurt in the end of all this"
"Ok......goodnight then"I said laying down on the mattress.
"Night"Jo replied as she crawled under her blanket and closed her eyes.
As I drifted off to sleep........I felt happy......and I mean really happy, in the first time in years I was genuinely happy.
And I wanna try to keep things that way.
