Chapter 23 : Blind Hate

Emmelines P.O.V

I ran out of the building into the street.

I had walked into the war zone that was now my reality.

I held out my knife at the ready.

"Em......come back inside now......your going to get yourself killed"I heard Jo's voice above me.

I looked up she was calling to me from an open window above.

"No.....let them come.......I'm ready"

"Stop trying to prove something......please what your doing is suicide"She pleaded.

I shook my head ignoring her.

Jo was right it was crazy what I was doing but my mind was so focused on hate.

All of a sudden 2 vampires appeared from behind the corner.

They froze when they saw me.

They were both male, and had blood stained mouths......they're close torn up.

"Come on......come at me"I teased at them.

They bared their fangs hissing at me.

They began to walk around me in a circle.

"She looks good"The taller of the two said licking his lips "Her blood is pure I can smell it".

They both ran at me.

I kicked the first hard in the chest and punched the second.

Both falling to the ground.

"She's a difficult one"The second coughed standing back up.

He ran at me again this time I slashed at his face cutting his cheek.

He yelped out in pain backing away covering the cut with his hands.

"You'll pay for that"The first one threatened as he ran toward me.

He punched my face hard.

Tha adrenaline pumping through my veins made me fight back.

I stabbed him through the heart.

The second then attacked me from behind...I broke from his grip straight away before punching him in his stomach and finally stabbing his heart.

They both fell to the pavement dead.

"Ok you've killed two now......come in"Jo's voice called again.

"No.....I'm not done yet"

I held out the knife again ready for more to arrive.After a minute or two a woman appeared.

She didn't seem to notice me but i was still gonna kill her.

Before I could run at her.....I felt someone lifting me up and putting me over their shoulder.

They brought me back into the building....even with me shouting out in protest.
