Chapter 51 : Blood Lust

Ashton's P.O.V

We all sat down together.......like a family in the living room.We were laughing.......telling jokes........all that was missing was a game of Monopoly and it would be the perfect family night.I wasn't used to all this, none of us were, when I was bitten........in an alley way near my school, vampires were something a bunch of girls were reading about in twilight...they weren't real.I was walking home late because my classes that day ran late.I remember how frightened I was.I had my 17th birthday coming up when I was turned by my own teacher Mr. Cole.He was in what I know now to be a blood lust state......which occurs when a vampire hasn't had blood in so long that they're lust for it becomes to powerful.....that any morals they have are forgotten and they only think of blood.

He threw me into a rubbish pile and jumped onto me.........he covered my mouth so that I wouldn't call for help and bit into me........i don't remember anything after that......at least until I had woken up a vampire.

I ran away from home.......

I had been living on the streets of Sydney for close to a year when I finally found out about the Prince needing men.......I didn't know about my power......I've only known about it since just before we left for London all hat time ago.

At first everyone thought I was having a seizure.......because it looks like I am having one when I get them....

I had a vision of a Slayer girl coming to kill the Prince.Em walked right into our trap that day.

I would of never thought a month and half onwards I'd be happy to call her a friend.

But there was something strange about her.....at least since we came to Dallas......I don't know what it is.....but I can feel it......that something isn't right.

She sat next to Luke who had his arm around her........she rested against his chest......before I watched her fall asleep.
