I didn't tell anyone......but, I liked Jo, she's like 5 years older than me..........but, I like her a lot.
Knowing she was out there.......alone....fighting them off, it made me worry about her, I felt like I needed to protect her all of a sudden.
Who am I kidding what help could I be ?
I stand by the window my eyes watching her.She already shot one.....it died instantly.
She stood in the rain....holding her gun at the ready for next one to appear.
I could feel my heart racing.
"We need to help her"
"You heard her she's fine"Michael said to me.
"Michael....she's risking her life out there for us"
"I know....Calum I know, but she dosen't need our help"
I turned back out the window.......3 werewolves appeared infront of Jo.
They growled at her......
She held her stance.
"Go away......or I'll shoot"I can hear her warning them
They were all huge..., and were dangerous looking.
Jo quickly fired a bullet at one of them.
It fell to the ground.....dead.
The other two took this badly and looked as though they were ready to kill Jo......
"I'm have to help her"
I run out of the apartment, through the club area and into the alley.
The werewolves were cornering Jo.
"Calum....what the hell...get back inside"She gave out.
"No....I am not leaving you"
I make my way to her....keeping an eye on the hungry looking beasts that approached.
Jo pulled the trigger.....shooting a bullet though the second of the two.
"Good shot"I say as it falls to the ground dead.
"Thank you"
She aims the gun at the last one.....it looked even angrier than before.
It then began to charge towards.
Jo pulled the trigger again.....but no bullet came out...
"It's jammed"Jo shouts.
The wolf was about to pounce onto her when I jumped in its way.
It but into my torso....I yelled out in pain as I felt the it's teeth burying deeper into my skin,
Suddenly Em came falling down from one of the windows upstairs holding a knife.
She landed on its back and began to stab it continuously in the back.
"Got it"Jo announced before firing at least 3 bullets into it.....
It collapses from the injuries......dead.
Em climbed off of it.Jo pulled her into a hug.
"I told you I passed Class 2 exams"Em whispers.
I pull myself from the werewolves mouth and lay down in the cold puddles that covered the ground.
Jo rushed over to me....falling to her knees.
She placed her hand on my cheek.
"Why did you do that Calum"?
"I can't loose you Jo......I mean.....none of us can loose you Jo" I say.
"Thank you......you really did save me"
"I know"I say proud of myself.
She pulls me up from the ground and holds me close to her.
At least until........
"Get a room"Em jokes.
We separate from the hug and laugh it off.
I had survived.......I had saved her, the girl I love.I don't know if she truly knows it yet but I love Jo Carter.....and I'm not ashamed.
