Calum's P.O.V

It all happened so quickly.......one minute everything was going well and the next.....everything was destroyed.

A couple hours earlier........

When we heard the order to feed......I began to turn the girl I had been paired with.

Mind continued to drain her until there was only one drop of blood left in her body.The last drop is the key.If that drop is drained she'll die and if there is more left over she will not turn at all.The sounds of the humans screaming in pain was horrifying.

King Pascal only laughed it off, enjoying it.

My eyes travelled over to Luke.

He couldn't even watch.....he kept his head down...he looked nearly sick.

I began to think about what we were doing.......it's wrong.....it's terrible.

I pulled away from the girl.....she fell limp into my arms.

"You there...master Hood what are you doing"Pascal called over to me.

I shook my head.

"Continue with your job sir or I will have to finish it myself"Pascal continued.

I looked at the girl.....her blue eyes were already turning red....and her teeth began to form fangs.She didn't make a sound....her tears fell down her cheeks.

Suddenly I remembered it.

The pain of the transformation.....how you wish that you could just die and have it over and done with.

"Did you here me master Hood....."Pascals voice shouted again."I do your majesty.....but....."

"But nothing she's dead anyway....finish the job"

I looked back to the girl.

"I can't"I whimpered.

"You will show her the mercy that her race has never given us"Michael yelled from behind me...finishing his transformation of another teen.

"Michael....I"

"Calum she is evil as one of them....if she is one of us she can fight for what right.....our freedom....our very existence depends on this ceremony and we need as many new borns as possible......finish the job"

Before I could answer......a man yelling out in pain caught the attention of the whole room.

It wasn't a human.It was Eliot Hopkins one of the Kings commanders.

The sight was horrific.

A new born had broken his neck.........mall of a sudden one by one all of them began to attack

us.

The girl I held in my arms.....broke from my grip and ran toward Michael

She picked him up with her new strength and threw him hard against the wall.

She then began kicking him hard in his stomach.

Luke ran up to her carrying his knife.He quickly pushed her to the ground stabbing it into her heart.She screeched out at the pain.....then died.As quickly as that.

"Luke"?

"She would of killed him Calum"

I understood....but I had never actually seen Luke fight before at least for Michael that is.

Ashton came limping over his leg looked cut.

"You alright"?I asked.

"I'm fine.....but we need to get out of here....all of them.....all of them are in a rage.......we can't control them"

"We go to the otherside of the city I know a place we can stay"Luke said as he inspected Michael.

"She was strong.....stronger than anything I have ever seen"I said to Ashton.

"Well looks like she's managed to smash up a few of Michaels ribs"Luke announced.

"That bitch could hit"Michael admitted.

"Come on we have to leave"Ashton ordered.

"What about my father"?Michael questioned as Luke helped him up.

"He's disappeared.....there is no sign that he is dead or alive.

"I can't leave the King"

"Michael you'll have to....come on......unless you wanna be counted in the number of deaths at this massacre"Ashton said.

Michael nodded.

"I'll drive"I say as we run to the elevator............
