Luke's P.O.V
"Are you sure that you won't come with us"? Jo asked me.
"I'm gonna stay here with Emmeline"I answered her.
Michael,Ashton,Calum and Jo were preparing for their weekly search for Jos brother.
Emmeline had gone the last 4 weeks and so Michael decided to take her place and give her a break.
"Ok.....boys c'mon lets go"She called out.
The three of them came out of the bedroom.
"Good luck"I say to her as they walk down the stairs to the club area.
She smiled before they all stepped out of my view.
I closed the apartment door.
Emmeline sat at the table with the information paper.
I joined her at the table.
"You ok"? I ask her.
"I'm ok.......look at this.....Philadelphia is declared releived of all vampires.....isn't that great"? She said showing me the paper.
"Yeah...it.....is fantastic........would be even more fantastic if it was New York"
"I know but it's a little bit of hope......"
"Em......."?
"Yep"She says still reading the paper.
"We're all alone.........."I say slowly taking the paper from her grasp.
"What are you getting at"?She asks smiling.
"I'm just saying that if there was anytime that we wanted to you know......it would be now...."
"I don't know Luke"
"Why not"?
"Things could happen......we could get caught.....I could get pregnant"
I pout a little......
She laughs and shakes her head in embarrassment
"Ok.....look if you don't want to then I understand I'm just gonna be in the bedroom in case you change your mind"I say standing up from my chair.
I give her a quick kiss on the cheek before walking away to the bedroom.
I waited 1 minute before she came rushing through the door and into my arms.
"I've changed my mind"she says to me.....giving me a quick peck on my lips.
"I knew you would"I say before delivering her over to the bed and continuing the kiss.
A few minutes later............
I lay in between the sheets......Em's head rested on my chest.
She had fallen asleep.
It was nice.......I hadn't since Nadia and that was a long time ago.....I loved Em more too, and after it I knew that I wasn't gonna let Michael have her.....I was gonna marry her......I was gonna keep her safe and be there for her when she needs me.........and I won't turn her.....she can stay human........for, as long as she wishes......forever if she wishes......as long as I'm with her I'll be happy.
