When I woke up......Luke wasn't next to me.......he must of already gotten up.
I lay there awake for a while.....the quiet was almost annoying.....I was so used to so much noise around me.....that I wasn't used to it.
I felt my stomach growling.......
I felt sick.
I rushed in the en suite bathroom and began gagging and vomiting into the toilet.
When I had finally finished I rinsed my mouth before an idea sparked in my mind.
"I couldn't be.......not now.........not now"I say...worrying.....why shouldn't I be worrying.
I look at my body in the mirror......and at my stomach......I didn't have a bump..........well obviously genius you only had sex like a week ago..........oh shit..........Luke.....and Michael......fuck.
I can feel myself wanting to scream.
I pull on a blue dressing gown that hung on the door.
I wrapped it around me and hurried down to the kitchen to find Jo........
She sat on a rocking chair in the back porch.....I knocked on the kitchen window to get her attention.
She jumped turning her head to me.
I motioned for her to come inside.
She stuck up a thumbs up and entered through the screen door.
"Morning......the boys went hunting"she says to me.
"Jo.......I....I got sick when I woke up"
"What on the bed"?
"No in the toilet it's all cleaned up.........but I.....I never get sick......I think, I think I might be pregnant"
"Pregnant"?
"Yes........Jesus I can't have a kid.......not now......not in the middle of all this"
"Ok....ok calm down........who's the father"?
I shrugged.
"What"!!!!!!!!
"I had sex with Luke and Michael.......shit......Jo"
"You've been sleeping around haven't you"
"Shut up......I had no choice with Michael ok"
"Alright fine.......look Em you might not even be pregnant.......you could of just gotten sick"
"What......just randomly got sick for the first time since I was 7, I don't think so Jo"
"Just don't tell anyone ok......not until your sure"
"How can I find out we don't have money to get a test"
"If your stomach starts growing then I think we know your pregnant"
"Einstein everybody"I say sarcastically.
She gives me a fake smile and holds up the finger.
"Jo....I'm just freaking out ok.....I can't have a kid......I have something trying to kill me each day of my life.......how can I be a mother, I can't let a baby live like that"
"My mom was ok with it.......and look how I turned out"
"You could be a phsycopathic....murderer for all I kmow...."
"Em......I am a psychopathic murderer"
"What"?
"You were too.......all slayers are.....haven't you noticed.......we're no better than the things we're sent to kill......."
Before I could answer the guys came in all four of them dragging a dead deer.
"This was all we could get"Ashton says.
Jo turns to me.
I shake my head and put my finger to my lips.
