I sat down on one of the kitchen counters, having an apple.
As I bit into it......I could feel Michaels eyes watching from the corner.I tried to ignore it......but even after what he did to me......all of them had a gaze that draws you in.
I looked over to him.
He held his gaze.........
After a while I couldn't take it......it was uncomfortable......I finished my apple and threw it out the window.
"You could use the bin you know"Ash says.
"No ones collecting bins anymore.....its in the paper.......be back in a minute"
I had to get out of the situation......so I played the bathroom card.
When I walked into the bathroom......I looked into the mirror.
I looked at myself for the first time in weeks.
My face was cut......my body bruised.My hair which I kept up in a ponytail, out of my face....it was all messed up.
I pulled out the old elastic band from it letting my hair fall down.
"You should keep it like that"
My heart skipped a beat....I swung around to see Michael.
I role my eyes.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack"I gave out .
"I'm sorry.....just I needed to talk to you"
"Michael I'm really not interested in an apology"
"Em.....I.....I really don't know what came over me........you just....."
"I what"?
"Your, all I've wanted.....I just am used to getting what I want.....I'm not used to being denied by anyone"
I scoff at this statement turning back to the mirror.
"That's just it.....your not like anyone else.....Em, I know I screwed up......I know that what I did was messed up ok, I know that I'm messed up, I just.......I know that I'm always asking for your forgiveness but.....this time I really do mean it, I an sorry Em"
For a while I don't know what to do, how to react, I can see that he's sorry.....and in truth I do forgive him.......but, I'm scared about Luke and I, if Michael loves me as much as he says then....if he finds out.......when he finds out, he'll be crushed......and I don't know what he'll do to Luke.....to me.
"Michael........I just need some time"
"Some time ? Em it's been weeks"
"I know.....I just need to think about everything"
"What's to think about"he yells at me.
"See there that's exactly why I don't wanna talk to you......your temper"
"Just leave it then, I try to be kind to you and you throw it back at my face"
"Michael....please just lis...."
"No I'm done listening......."He shouts leaving the bathroom.
I kick the sink cabinet in anger.
Luke runs in.
"What happened"?
"Michaels just being a drama queen"
"Well you've set him off he's locked himself in the bedroom"
I push past Luke and make my way across the living area where Ash and Calum sit.
I knock hard on the door.
"Michael"I call inside.
There's no answer.
"Michael.......don't make me break down this door"
"Hahaha I'd like to see you try"Michaels voice says from inside.
"Just unlock the door Michael........I wanna talk to you"
"Why would I"?
"Because.........because.......I forgive you"
He dosen't respond.
"For fuck sake.....Michael...open up"I shout at him.
He still dosen't answer.
This annoys me so much, I let out a scream.
"Fuck you Michael"I shout punching the wall.
"Calm down Em"Luke says.
I take a deep breath.......
"I'm going to bed......I'll see you guys tomorrow"
With that I leave the room.
