Jo's P.O.V

We all followed Michael through the house, keeping away from where Pascal was plotting.

Before we went to the garage Michael grabbed a suitcase from his fathers infinite collection and filled it with as much of the cash from his fathers safe as possible.

"Where are we"?

"This is my fathers third house.......we're in Las Vegas, when he's not trying to destroy the world he's out gambling at casinos around the city" Michael replys once we're inside the garage.

"Where we gonna go now"Ashton asks.

"There's nowhere else in the country we can stay........."I tell him.

Michael stopped at a glass cabinet full of car keys.

"Just to piss him off let's take his favourites.......let's see, Jo you can take his Porche 911 should get you to the facility fast enough to warn everyone" Michael began choosing one of the keys and pointing to a shiny red porche.

"Nice"I say taking the keys.

"Luke and Em you can take the Lamborghini Hurcan"He says tossing Luke the keys.

"Calum and Ash.......Jaguar F Type R and I'll take The McLarren P1.......everyone happy"?

"They'll do just fine" Luke answers as he gets into the Lamborghini.

"Mate.....why haven't you ever told us you own these cars......they're sick"Calum says as I hand him the keys.

"What can I say, my dad loves sports cars..........."

Calum and Ash both jump into the Jag in excitement.

"Jo......please be careful"Em says hugging me

"Don't worry....I'm gonna be ok"

"Your like a sister to me........Jo I can't bare to loose anymore people.......just come back to us"

"Don't worry little sis, I'll try to, hopefully alive..."I say sliding into the porche.

"Everyone.....these cars are gonna make a lot of sound, so get out of here as fast as possible"Michael announces getting into the McLarren.

"Good luck"Em calls out to all of us as she gets inside the Lambo.

We all turned on our engines and floored it...........In my mirror I watched as the others drove away in the other direction.

I had a new mission now, one that I simply cannot fail, for everyone's sake, that may have been the last time I ever see them all.......and I hope to god that they survive through this and that when that baby is born, it will be born....in a safe place away from all of the havoc and despair.If I die, I pray that the child will know about me........will remember me.Auntie Jo.......I can hear it now.At this point I have lost so much, too much to fail this mission.I go now.....for Emmeline, for Calum, for Ashton, for Luke, for Michael, for Jimmy, for my father, for my mother, for all humans, for all vampires that are good of heart and especially for that baby......that maybe one day it will be able to smile and not feel in danger each moment of its life, so that their children and their grandchildren can be born into a world that has beaten this darkness, that stands together hand in hand.....in peace.....in rejoyce that we lived on and saved this world.....we were the ones who fought back, that we walk now with dignity and freedom.
