Toni's POV
It had been two months since my mother's threat and so far nothing had happened. In the early weeks after everybody had been on edge but the longer we waited for something to happen the more our guards went down.

I was currently at the Whyte Wyrm with Sweet Pea and Fangs having a good time. I looked at my phone and realised it was getting late and I should probably get back home.

I said bye to the guys and walked out of the Wyrm and immediately realised that it was extremely dark. I managed to find my way to my bike before I managed to get on somebody grabbed me from behind.

Fortunately, I was prepared for this and had been taking self-defence classes. I elbowed the attacker in the stomach and turned around with my fists up ready to fight back, however, I was met with a strong blow to my head and stumbled backwards into my bike. The darkness combined with me now being dazed put me at a severe disadvantage so my attacker took this as an opportunity to hit me again. That's when everything went black.

Cheryl's POV
Toni was at the Whyte Wyrm with Sweet Pea and Fangs, she didn't tell me what time she'd be back but it's rare for her to stay out past 10 pm. I'd called her multiple times but she didn't pick up so I decided to call Fangs instead.

"Cheryl, what's wrong? I swear when she left she wasn't too drunk. There's a possibility she was a bit tip-" Fangs rambled.

"Fangs, Toni isn't here. I've called her cell multiple times but she didn't pick up. Are you guys still at the Wyrm?" I asked

"Yeah, why?" He replied.

"Can you just check if her bike's there or not, please?" I questioned.

"Uh, sure, give me a second." He answered, "Yeah, it's here."

"Okay, um how long ago did she leave the Wyrm?" I asked.

"She left like 15 minutes ago, but now that I think about it after she left there was a bit of commotion outside." He replied.

"Why didn't you guys check if she was okay?" I inquired.

"Pea was too drunk and I had to make sure he didn't hurt himself plus it's like pitch black out there we just thought she was struggling to get to her bike." He explained.

"Okay, thanks Fangs. I'm gonna try and find her, I'll update you when I find something." I replied, ending the call.

I decided not to panic and just collect my thoughts and think of where she could be. I then remembered her mother's threat from two months ago. I then started to piece things together, we had started letting our guards down, this would be the perfect time to attack. Despite my efforts, I started panicking because I was unsure of how far Toni's mother would go to harm her. I was brought out of my frenzy by my phone ringing and it was an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Is this Cheryl Blossom?" The person asked.

"This is she. Who is this?" I responded.

"Oh, thank God. Cheryl, it's Dalton, listen-"

"Dalton? As in my girlfriend's psycho ex-best friend that tried to kill her?" I inquired.

"I can explain that but please just listen. Toni's in danger." He explained.

"What? How do you know?" I asked.

"I live in the neighbourhood her Mom lives in and I was on my lawn working on my callisthenics when I saw someone being dragged into the house they were kicking and screaming. I know Toni's scream from a mile away, it was her." He answered.
