A week later
Toni's POV
My mom has been bothering me for the past week, I don't know why she thinks I would want to talk to her, she tells me it's something about my dad but I don't want to hear about how she broke his heart and caused his death.

I was brought out of my thoughts by a knock at the door, I looked at Cheryl to see if she was expecting anyone and she looked equally as confused as me.

I hopped off of the couch and jogged to the door and opened it.

"Antoinette, hi," she smiled.

I rolled my eyes and closed the door but she stopped it with her foot.

"What do you want, mom?" I groaned.

"Have you not seen my messages?" she asked.

"I have, and have you not seen I've been ignoring them?" I retorted.

"Toni please, it's important," she begged.

"You have 5 minutes, you're lucky I'm even giving you that," I sighed letting her in.

We walked into the living room and Cheryl gave me a puzzled look from the kitchen, but I gave her an 'I will explain later' look to which she nodded.

My mom sat on one couch while I sat on the one across from her.

"So what's so important?" I asked.

"Umm you're father was a Serpent," she blurted out.

"And I'm the president of the United States," I laughed.

"I'm serious, Antoinette," she said sternly.

"What?" I asked, genuinely interested now..

"Umm you're father wasn't from Whitechapel, he was from Riverdale, we both were, I was a Northsider and he was a Southsider we were together for a while and when he found out I was pregnant he wanted to move us out of Riverdale so we moved to Whitechapel," she explained.

"Then why the hell did you move us back?!" I yelled.

"Toni…" she started, "We both know that you didn't want to stay in Whitechapel no matter how much you denied it and a lot of good things came out of the move here, don't you think?" she asked.

"Finding out my mom hates me even more because I'm bi and hates my girlfriend and my new family, yeah real good things," I said sarcastically.

"I don't hate you Toni," she sighed.

"Well, I hate you, and you've always acted like you hated me so what's the difference?" I asked.

"I just don't see why you can't find a nice guy you're pretty, there are guys that would love to be your boyfriend," she explained.

"I am attracted to men ya know, mom?" I laughed.

"Then why are you stringing along this Blossom girl?" she asked, confused.

"First of all her name is Cheryl and I'm not stringing her along, I love her, something you couldn't say about you and daddy," I explained, "I'm attracted to both genders but I seem to be attracted to girls more often than not," I shrugged.

"Hey! Don't you ever say I didn't love your father because I loved him more than anything," she said sternly.

"Loved him enough to cheat on him with his own brother," I rolled my eyes, "And the funny thing is dad was a way better person than Uncle Antonio,"

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Well first of all daddy wasn't an adulterer, and second of all every time you left me with him and I'd come back with bruises and stuff you didn't get suspicious that he was doing anything, he beat me because I came out to him," I explained.
