A/N: I am shook 700 people have read this book, this started out as a hobby to keep me occupied during quarantine and keep my story writing skills sharp also I didn't want to lose my remaining marbles. But seriously thank you I never expected this kind of response on my story. Also sorry for not publishing a chapter on Thursday I was swamped with schoolwork I'll post 3 chapters today for this achievement and for not giving you guys chapters when I'm supposed to. Just so you guys know I try to publish chapters twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart -C

The next day
Toni's POV
I woke up in an unfamiliar bed with Cheryl's arm wrapped around my waist. I felt really drained and I really wanted Pop's but I just decided to wait until Cheryl woke up and in the meantime, I could admire her peaceful face whilst she slept. After about 5 minutes Cheryl began to stir and she finally woke up.

"Hey beautiful," I smiled.

"Hey, TT," she smiled back.

"Do you want to go get some Pop's?" I inquired.

"Sure, just us?" she asked.

"Um, yeah," I answered.

At Pop's

"I'll have a chocolate milkshake and a burger and she'll have a strawberry milkshake and fries," I ordered.

"You still remembered my order?" Cheryl asked shocked.

"Of course," I smiled.

"Are you okay? Toni, you're sweating a lot," she asked.

"No," I answered truthfully.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"I have a confession but please, promise me you won't leave me," I started to cry.

"Of course I wouldn't," she reassured taking my hand.

"The fire at Thornhill wasn't an accident," I confessed.

"What do you mean?" she asked confused.

"Jesse started it he told me about it in the middle of the night and I ran to save you I'm sorry, Cheryl," I confessed.

"Toni it's okay, you saved me so it- Toni look out!" she said calmly then yelled.

I felt a strong blow in my jaw. I looked up and saw Jason he grabbed me by shirt lifted me up and then threw me onto the floor. He punched me in the nose.

"You Serpent scum, my sister almost died because of you!" he spat before punching me again.

"Jason, stop! She saved me!" Cheryl protested.

"I don't care! She probably orchestrated the whole thing and is still in cahoots with the person that started the fire. And Cheryl, as your older brother I am no longer permitting you to date this Serpent scum," he said as he stood up to kick me in the ribs.

That was when Archie, Reggie and Jughead came in and pulled Jason off of me. I was coughing up blood. Cheryl ran to my side.

"Are you okay?" Cheryl asked.

"Cheryl, I'll be fine I always am," I smirked.

"You Serpent scum I want you out of my house!" Jason yelled.

"Toni, don't worry, I'll talk to him," Cheryl reassured.

"It's fine Cheryl, I'll go," I sighed.

"Toni, I don't think it's a good idea for you to be in your trailer again," Cheryl said.

"I'll figure something out," I said.

"Cheryl! Get the hell away from that Serpent scum!" Jason grunted as the boys held him back.

"I'm gonna go get my stuff from Thistlehouse and take it to the trailer," I said getting up.

I was met with a sharp pain in my stomach when I did. I looked down and saw a knife in my stomach. I looked up and saw a guy in a black ski mask turning and running out of Pop's. Jughead ran after him. My body had had enough because my legs became weak and I fell to the ground.

Cheryl's POV
A guy in a black ski mask walked in and he must've done something to Toni because he stood in front of her as she stood up and then ran away. Toni fell backwards but I caught her. Her face looked so pale.

"Toni hey hey, stay with me," I said masking the panic in my voice.

"Cheryl," she called and I followed her eyes down to her stomach to see that she had been stabbed.

"Someone call 911!" I yelled.

"I'm gonna die aren't I Cheryl?" Toni asked.

"No,baby, no you're gonna be fine, just stay awake," I said.

"But I'm tired, I wanna sleep," she slurred.

"Toni! Don't close your eyes okay?" I smiled,

"I'm not in cahoots with Jesse anymore I swear," Toni started to cry.

"Don't cry that's obvious Toni, Jason's just uh I don't even know what his problem is," I sighed.

I was doing everything I could to keep Toni awake before the ambulance came. I heard sirens in the distance. Soon enough paramedics came in and took her in the ambulance I followed close behind.

"Can you tell me what happened, please?" One of the paramedics asked.

"Um, she was beaten and then she was stabbed," I explained.

The whole ride to the hospital Toni was going in and out of consciousness. I really hoped she was going to be okay. I walked into the waiting room as Toni was wheeled into the surgery room. About 5 minutes later everyone came in and comforted me, but I wasn't even listening to anything they were saying. I was zoned out until I saw Jason walk in and then my blood began to boil.

"I'm sorry, Cheryl I did-" he started.

I slapped him, I slapped him so hard that he stumbled back.

"What the hell, Jason?! Why would you do that to my girlfriend? I don't care what you say I'm still going to date her because I love her, she's staying in Thistlehouse and that's final!" I yelled.

"Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to leave if you don't calm down," a nurse said calmly.

"Okay, okay," I calmed down.

1 hour later
Fangs and I were the only ones awake at this point.

"Family for Topaz?" a nurse called.

We both immediately stoop up.

"She's out of surgery she's on a lot of anaesthesia so when she wakes up she'll be really loopy, one of you can go and see her now, she's in room 412" she explained.

"You should go, Cheryl, I'm gonna go home anyways," Fangs said.

"Okay, ride safe," I said.

"Will do," Fangs said as he left the hospital.

I walked over to Toni's room and I sat on the chair next to her bed.

"Oh, Toni why do you always end up in these situations?" I asked, "Please wake up so we can go home and watch movies and fall asleep in each other's arms,"

"I'm trying to sleep here," Toni whined.

"Well can I sleep in the bed with you?" I asked playfully.

"No," she answered coldly.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Because I have a girlfriend, silly," she slurred.

I sighed and got up and got into the bed with her.

"My girlfriend won't like this," she said.

"I'm sure she'll be fine let's just go to sleep," I chuckled.

She nodded and I wrapped my arm around her waist and shortly fell asleep.
