Toni's POV
"D-Dalton?" I stuttered.

"Hey, Toni," he smiled.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I semi yelled.

"What can't I see my best friend?" he chuckled.

"No, no you can't, you expect me to let you in after everything that happened?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"Well, I came to tell you that I'll be going to Riverdale High," he explained.

"Dalton. I. Don't. Care." I replied.

"Toni, I'm sorry for everything just please, give me a chance," he pleaded.

"I'll think about it," I sighed.

"Thank you, I'll see you Monday," he beamed turning around and leaving.

I closed the door and turned around to see a confused Cheryl.

"What the hell just happened?" she asked.

"You're gonna wanna sit down for this one," I sighed walking to the couch.

"Okay, explain" she ordered, plopping down on the couch.

"So Dalton and I go way back, he was my best friend since kindergarten, we were just so close, if someone messed with me, they messed with him and vice versa," I started, "Well, that was until Jesse showed up, he started following him around like a puppy dog, but we were still friends, I explained to him what happened with me and Jesse after I broke up with him and he called me a monster for breaking such a kind person’s heart, I later found out that Jesse had turned him before me, but that didn't make anything better," I finished.

"I'm sorry, you had to go through that," she sighed.

"It's not your fault, and he wasn't even there for me after everything happened you know, maybe he finally got his head out of Jesse's you know what," I chuckled.

“I guess,” she sighed.

“What’s wrong princess?” I asked.

“Don’t get me wrong I believe everything you said,” she started, “But the way you stiffened up when you saw him leads me to believe that’s there’s more to the story,” she explained.

“I, um, well, h-he was verbally and e-emotionally abusive towards me because of Jesse,” I stuttered almost in tears.

“Then why did you agree to give him another chance?!” she exclaimed.

“I gave him another chance because I gave him a message before I left Whitechapel,” I answered,

Flashback
I slammed Dalton into the ground and he grunted in pain. I applied pressure onto his throat and his chest to keep him in place.

“You wanna be my friend? Clean up your act! I’m moving to Riverdale in a week, so you know where to come if you actually get better,” I explained.

“T-Toni I’m s-sorry,” he choked.

“Well, that’s a step in the right direction, but for now we are over,” I spat.

I got up to leave the garage, but he stopped me.

“Toni, wait please, what am I supposed to do without my best friend?” he pleaded.

“You should have thought about that before you started treating me no better than the gum on your shoe,” I answered.

“Toni, I-I,” he started.
