(Sometime during midday at Meh Burger)

(Niki and Jeffery are chilling at a table with Niki sitting on the table and Jeffery in a chair next to her)

Niki: (lies down with hands behind head) So I've gotta question.

Jeffery: (sways hand) Ask away.

Niki: What's the deal with you and Nigel?

Jeffery: (kind stern) What do you mean?

Niki: (bends legs and sets one on the other) Like how did you and him meet, how long have you two known each other, how long has it been since? (Sways foot) You know those kinds of questions.

Jeffery: (wide eyed) Oh. Um... I kinda gave Jay and Jan a summary of our *ahem* (uses quotes) "friendship".

Niki: Alright. Tag.

Jeffrey: (sighs) Alright I guess it kinda began when I was 10 years old.

(A flashback plays)

Jeffery: I was actually was never really into music until I saw my dad play on his guitar.

(Flashback paused)

Niki: Pause real quick. What is your dad's name again?

Jeffery: (blunt) It's Phillip.

Niki: Alright continue.

(Flashback plays)

(Jeffery is on top the stairs while his dad is below him)

(As Jeffery walks towards the staircase, he can hear his dad get louder with what seems like a song)

(Btw Phillip is Phillip Phillips)

(Phillip is sitting on a tall bar stool in the living room)

Phillip: (starts mid way through song) 🎶You give all that I hope to receive. You never let me break down and you never had let me go. (Easy strumming) You are the one I'll believe. 🎶 (Song ends)

(Jeffery comes down the stairs impressed)

Jeffery: Wow, I never knew you could sing like that.

Phillip: (taking off guitar) Hey little man. And I don't think you've ever heard me sing at all.

Jeffery: (hand behind head) I guess you're right.

Phillip: (hops off stool and kneels down) Hey, I know you've been trying to find love at an early age, but why not trying something you might good at?

Jeffery: (little upset) Like what? I haven't found anything that I'm good at.

Phillip: And that's why trying new things is a good virtue. How about I teach you the art of music?

Jeffery: But I don't know the first thing about playing a guitar.

Phillip: (Chuckles and places hand on Jeffrey's shoulder) Son, music isn't just about playing a guitar and having fancy lyrics. It's also about singing what you feel.

Jeffery: (confused) Singing about what you feel? Ugh! This sounds like girly stuff.

Phillip: Admittedly, it does sound girly but I promise you that it's not all girly as it seems.

(Jeffery looks down at the ground in being nervous)

Phillip: (raises his chin) Hey, I promise you there's nothing to worry about. I'll teach you everything and maybe you'll find proper love someday.
