(During Midday at the Phoenix clan)
(Niki is just walking through the vines when she notices that something seems off about the clan)
(Inside are scattered branches and leaves all over the ground. Soldier phoenix's are lined up at the medicine hollow)
Niki: (under breath) What happened here?
(Seconds later a few soldier phoenix come flying in around the medicine hollow)
(Philomena pokes her head out)
Soldier 1: No sign of him, your Highness.
Philomena: (climbs all the way out) He has to be somewhere. Go check near the border, again. (Under breath) And it's only three more half moons before the great gathering.
(The soldiers nod and fly off)
Niki: (spots Philomena) Hey, Philomena!
Philomena: Niki? (Flies over to Niki)
Niki: What happened here? (Has arm out for Philomena)
Philomena: (lands on arm) Curso and some of the socrates ganged up and invaded. (Sad) They took off with some of the eggs from the nursery.
Niki: (pitiful) I'm sorry.
Philomena: It's fine. (Sighs) My parents are over there talking to Queen Selda as we speak and Tombre is missing.
Niki: Is that what's with the search parties?
Philomena: He was sent out for some seeds and we haven't seen him since.
Niki: Hm... Do you mind if I tag along in this search?
Philomena: Not at all. (Hops off arm) Come on.
(Niki then follows Philomena)
(Soon they reach a maple tree with a bush beside it that has a grape vine surrounding the bush)
Soldier 2: (on a branch) Still no sign of him.
(Philomena lands on the branch next to the soldier)
(Niki carefully looks around and walks over to the bush)
(She slowly walks around it and gets on her knees and moves the bush around to then find Tombre on the ground, under the bush)
(He is on his back with wings partially open)
Niki: (gasps) I found him!
(Philomena and the soldiers land next and around Niki)
Soldier 3: (opens wing over Tombre) He doesn't seem to be doing good.
Philomena: (is on Tombre's left side and worried) He got bit.
Niki: (soft) I can't carry him because he'll be to hot for me to touch.
Philomena: (nudges Tombre a little) Hey, Tombre. We need you to go camo so Niki can carry you back.
(Tombre groans in pain, but manages to slowly change in camo)
Philomena: (flies up and determined) Now let's get him to Tallow. Soldiers, grab the seeds.
(Soldiers nod)
Niki: (just as determined) Right. (Carefully picks up Tombre and then rushes alongside Philomena)
(Minutes later they are back at the tribe)
Philomena: Tallow! We found Tombre! He got bit!
Tallow: (sticks his head out of the hollow) What do you mean he got bit, princess?
