Battle Finale Part 2

(Continuing from before)

(Mephiles goes on a rant to get Infinite to further join him)

Mephiles: Think of the endless possibilities we could accomplish. Let those dark memories come flooding back, and realize who you truly are. You are Infinite! Arise yourself and be the title you gave yourself. (In ear) Be infinite.

(Infinite tries to shake off all the words running through his head, but something snaps in him)

Mephiles: (evilly grins) That's better. Now how about joining me further in arms?

Infinite: (crosses arms) What plans do you exactly have in mind?

(Mephiles pulls out a small round old piece of tech)

Mephiles: This is my plan, dear Infinite.

(Infinite just looks with a very almost dead yet serious look)

(The scene shifts to the workshop)

Sonic: (hand behind back of neck) So got some news...

Tails: Yea?

Sonic: So there's an old villain back in town.

Amy: (hands on hips) Who?

Niki: What's a sideways eight?

Silver: Sideways eight?

Niki: Like an extended sideways eight?

Tails: (one ear down) I don't know, and infinity symbol...(clicks and lowers both ears) Oh no...

Silver: (places fingers between eyes) Great. Just what we need. The one guy who can actually surpass Sonic in speed and beat him, is back in town?!

Niki: Wait, surpass his speed? I didn't notice that. I thought he would of been like Shadow that just matches his speed.

Sonic: Even I've got enemy's faster than me.... (Under breath) which isn't something I want to be proud of.

Niki: (plants fist into palm of hand) That's why I lost against him! He's faster than you Sonic, I was only going your top speed versus my own!

Sonic: Okay, that explains why you lost the last battle, but I don't know if we are going to run into him or not again.

Niki: And unfortunately I don't have another crystal and we can't get any more clusters since Mephiles destroyed the last available mine shaft we had left.

Shadow: (hiding in a black pitched corner) If he's back in town, then there's no telling what him and Mephiles can do or much less what they plan.

Niki: Actually that can be arranged.

Sonic: (to Shadow) And how long have you been hiding in that corner?!

(Shadow just looks at Sonic with narrowed eyes)

(Moments later back in the forest, Philomena (camouflaged) peaks in at the two from the top of a tree branch. Ziggy is sitting on her back)

Niki: (whisper like through Ziggy) Alright Philomena, you're just gonna be our gopher until we can figure out what their plan is.

Philomena: (whispers back) Alright.

(A few minutes pass by as Philomena stands by and watches Mephiles and Infinite. Mephiles pulls out the same rounded hologram device and it displays something relative to a website or newspaper article)
