(At the tribe from previously)
(Niki walks in after Tombre made his appearance)
Philomena: (relieved) Niki! (Flies up to her)
Niki: (puts arm out with a smile) Is everything okay?
Philomena: (panicky again) No! Nothing is okay! We have the Great Gathering and it's only one half moon away!
Niki: (trying not to giggle) Okay, calm down. Remember I don't know all your guy's terms. So try to elaborate so I can help. There is day, week, month and year. Which one are you referring to?
Philomena: (sighs to calm) Sun, half moon, moon, and eclipse.
Niki: So this great gathering is in a week?
Philomena: (slightly raises voice) And we're no where ready. We're supposed to have decorations up already, but since Curso and his little play, we've been behind schedule and as the princess, I'm supposed to be leading this!
Niki: (smiles and soft) Remember, you're friends with a speedy hedgehog, I can get these decorations up in no time. Just tell me where everything goes and I promise it'll be a cinch.
Philomena: (takes a relieving sigh) Thank you.
Niki: (reassuring) So let's get this place looking nice! (Raises elbow for Philomena to fly off)
Philomena: (fly's off and determined) Right!
(A small montage breaks out as decorations are being set by Niki and the other Phoenix)
(Everything is lit up by bioluminescent decorations)
Philomena: (up in air and in front of Niki) Thank you for your help, I guess I just needed to get my head straight.
Niki: Not a problem, but I do have a question. (Offers arm)
Philomena: (lands) Ask away.
Niki: So what exactly is this Great Gathering?
Philomena: (a tad nervous) Oh, right. (Clears throat but still nervous) We aren't the only Phoenix clan out there. (Chuckles nervously)
Niki: (eyes shining and excited) How many more are out there?!
Philomena: (laughs in relief) There's at least three other clans. And each one is in a different location apart from the island. We are known as the Original Phoenix Clan. Next is the Rivera (ree-vear-a) Clan. They are mainly river Phoenix. They hunt fish and any small creature that lives near a river. Then there's the Catora (ka-tore-a) Clan . They live in the plains and, well, you know what they hunt. And last but not least is the Katastan (cat-a-stan) Clan. They live in the high peaks on the main land.
Niki: (hand behind head) I'll assume that high peaks are mountains. (Gets more excited and high pitched) But I can't believe there's more than just you guy's!
Philomena: (chuckles) Yep, and since it only took us two suns to get everything done, they won't be here untill the next few suns.
(Four days later at the clan)
(All the Phoenix are either hanging off trees or are on the ground the King and Queen make an announcement on top of the staircase to the temple doors. Niki is sitting on the staircase next to Philomena)
(If this hasn't been mentioned before, Philomena's parents names are Darla and Richard)
Richard: It's time my clan, that our location holds the next Great Gathering. In moment time, appease yourselves for introductions for they are arriving any moment. For now enjoy!
