Deep Dive

(During Mid day at the shack)

(The team is either chilling or doing some kind of beach activity)

(Sonic is lying on a pool lounge. Niki is building a sand castle. Tails is using a metal detector and the rest are playing volleyball)

Sonic: Didn't expect a 12 year old to build sand castles. I thought that was for little kids.

Niki: (perfecting her build) You can judge all you want. Many older people do things that little kids do.

Sonic: (sways a foot) Such as?

Niki: Such as, wall art, abstract art, building things out of clay, and just all over sculpting.

Sonic: (disappointed) Eh...

(After the chat you hear a loud thud coming from the water, it startles the team to stop everything that they are doing)

Tails: (takes headphones off) What was that?

Sonic: (blunt) I swear if Eggman is trying to flood the town again. Come on, let's go check it out.

(Team nods and they go check it out)

(A few minutes later they are above the water were Tails tracked some seismic activity)

Tails: I don't think this is one of his flooding tricks.

(Niki is in the passenger seat, Sonic and Knuckles are on one side of the plane while Sticks and Amy are on the other)

(Seconds later a underwater telescope is risen)

Eggman: Oh ho! Didn't think the blue rat would want to come out to the waters again.

Sonic: (smug with arms crossed) Actually Egghead, my fear is no more.

Eggman: (struggling to find words) B-bu-but, what's a enemy without his most sacred fear?!

Sonic: Sorry Egghead, but the water doesn't scare me anymore.

Eggman: (blunt) Either way, I placed a bomb underneath the island.

Niki: Is that where all that rumbling is coming from?

Eggman: There was rumbling?

(The team gives a blunt look)

Niki: Anyway, when is this bomb supposed to go off?

Eggman: I'm not telling you that! (Some silence remains and then bluntly) In two hours.

Sonic: Alright, let's go saddle up then.

(Team nods)

(The plane takes off back to the island)

Eggman: Hey, you can't leave me here!

Niki: (turns around) We just did!

(About half an hour later, the team is getting suited up for the underwater fight)

Niki: (leaning back on a table, annoyed) I see all of you getting ready.

Tails: Oh, right. I forgot about your wet suit. (Runs over to a nearby closet and digs for the wet suit) Here it is. (Walks over to Niki and hands it over) I made it when you were new to the team. I just forgot to give it to you.

Niki: (blunt and snatches the suit) Thanks.

(Another 10 minutes pass and now everyone is set and already out flying to sea)
