Free Ridin' Pt 1

(Back to Sonic's Dimension at Tails workshop at roughly noon)

(Sonic makes a call to Niki)

Sonic: (hand on table slightly leaning) Yo! Sis. I've got a little message for you.

Niki: And what is it?

Sonic: (blunt) I need you to come here for one, so I can tell you.

Niki: I don't understand why you can't just tell me over call, but ok. I'll be there in a few seconds. (Hangs up)

(Seconds later Niki speeds through and stops directly in front of Sonic)

Niki: (arms crossed and blunt look) So, what was this you wanted to talk about?

Sonic: (stands up straight) Well, since I know you haven't explored the mainland much, I was figuring-

Niki: (exited and finished sentence) Another trip! I'll go get packing! (Tries to dart off)

Sonic: (catches her arm) Woah, hold on there. (Niki stops and he let goes) We aren't going until tomorrow plus Tails and I have to dig through our collections.

Niki: (eye brow raised) What do you mean your collections?

(Sonic gives a sly look to Niki as the scene shifts to Sonic shack)

(Sonic once again pries up one of his floorboards and this time proceeds to remove the chest and puts it to the side as he goes to dig further under the floorboards)

Niki: (leaning on main post with eyebrow raised) What are you doing?

Sonic: (muffled) You'll see. (Backs way up over the floorboards with a large high tech board like object)

Niki: (stands fully) What's that?

Sonic: (struggling to get up out of the floorboards) This, little sis, is my old Gear. (Fully out of the floor and puts everything back)

Niki: (eyebrow raised and blunt with arms crossed) I don't you think you can wear that.

Sonic: (softly chuckles and fully stands with Gear) Wrong kind of gear. Gears are a more technical term for hover boards. This is ol' Blue Star Mark 2.

Niki: (eyes shine) Shut up, you said hover board?

(Had to make up the speed of them since the fandom website couldn't provide it)

Sonic: She can run up to about 80 miles per hour. (Under breath and blunt) Which isn't all that fast, (normal) But they were called the Extreme Gear back in the day.

(Niki jumps up and down in excitement with squeaks)

Sonic: (chuckling) Alright. Now you can go get packing for tomorrow.

(Niki once again hops with excitement and then speeds out to her place)

(The next day)

(The scene shifts down from a bright blue sky onto a high tech city with large building, skyscrapers, and even hover cars flying around the city)

(Further down, are Sonic, Tails, and Niki are walking along a sidewalk as their eyes are veering around every corner at how busy the streets are)

Niki: I never thought that this place would so... -

Sonic: (with a smile) Crowded?

Niki: (wide eyed and blunt) Yes.

Sonic: Come on, let's get to our hotel and then we can look around further.
