Battle Finale Part 4

(Continuing a day later)

(Niki lies in her bed with eyes wide open, staring into nothing)

Niki: (sighs) I can't even stare at anything... (Turns to side) Part of me wants my vision back, but at the same time if I get my vision back, I'm gonna slowly turn to Dark Super and then what?

(As Niki starts to tear up she hears a knock on the door. She quickly sits up at wipes away any tears that strolled down her face)

(The door creaks opens with Jeffery being on the other side)

Jeffery: (soft) Hey... (Opens door fully) I'm at least hoping you are smart enough to distinguish people from their voices?

Niki: (blunt) I may not be able to see, but that doesn't mean I won't try and throw something.

Jeffery: (hand behind neck) Got it... But have you had a chance to look at the hologram yet?

Niki: (crosses arms) Please tell me, you're joking?

Jeffery: (realizes and scoffs) That's not what I meant and you know it.

Niki: But no, I haven't yet. Speaking of, I probably should. (Hops out of bed perfectly normal)

Jeffrey: (confused) How did you-?

Niki: (with a smile) I learn my surroundings quickly, especially if it's a common spot. Might as well not be blind in my own room. I know where everything is and the distance between.

Jeffrey: (glints a smile) That's actually pretty impressive.

(Niki puffs her chest in a smug manner and heads forward to only hit her foot at the frame of her bed)

Niki: (bends and holds onto corner of bed frame) Ow...

Jeffrey: (eyebrow raised) You talked?

Niki: (lowers head) I talked...

Jeffery: (chuckles and wraps arm around her) C'mon. Let's get you to the workshop.

(They walk a few feet and Niki turns her head to Jeffery to close her eyes and smile. When she opens them, her eyes turn back to her normal bright green as she turns her head back)

Niki: (worried) Uh oh...

Jeffery: (concerned) What?

(Niki turns her head back to Jeffery)

Jeffery: (lets go of Niki) Wait a minute, you got your vision back, isn't that good?

Niki: It's not. I have my vision back this means I'm on the last stage... (Rushes to give Jeffery a kiss on the cheek)

Niki: I gotta go. (Proceeds to dart out of the room and to the workshop)

(Later at the workshop)

Sonic: (ears droopy) Great...

Silver: (crosses arms) This couldn't of come at a worse time.

Niki: (gritty) You don't say!?

(The tips of Niki's ears start to change color to her Dark Super)

Tails: (concerned) Uh...Niki?

Niki: (ears droop) Don't tell me... (Places hands over head in worry)

Sonic: I think your emotions are what's triggering it.

Niki: (hands open) I'm a girl! (Sits down and leans on a table leg) That's all I know...(curls up)

Silver: I think it's more of the negative emotions. You're freaking out about this and I don't think that's helping your case.
