(Continuing from before)
(All three make their way outside, it is very gloomy and dead)
Max: (holding crossbow up with one arm) Let's get to the base and make some noise.
Silver: Love you dad, but that's about one of the worst things to do right now. We should go check on Mom and Lisa.
Blaze: (hand on hip) For once, I agree with your son.
Max: (drops crossbow into second hand) Ugh...Fine.
(All three head to the house)
(Max is the first one to enter. He is greeted by a battle cry with a broom being swung at him. He catches the broom, but just barely)
Max: Woah. Alright.
Lilly: (relieved) Max! (Lets go of the broom and kisses Max on the lips)
(Max trying to process what just happened, closes his eyes in a form of a shrug and savors the kiss)
Lilly: (jumps down from the kiss) I'm glad you are alright.
Silver: (pokes behind Max) *ahem* Uh, yes we exist.
Lilly: (crosses arms) And where were you?
Silver: (struggles to find words) tp..t..tpp...SAVING DAD.
Blaze: (comes in behind Silver) And that's why I saved the both of you.
Max: (walks further in so the door gets closed) Alright Blaze, you don't have to rub it in.
Silver: (sits on couch) You only say that now because Blaze is hurting your ego.
Max: (behind Silver) And you don't have to rub it in either.
Lisa: Mom! Is it safe?
Silver: Yes Lisa!
Lisa: You're not mom!
(Silver shrugs at the response)
Lilly: Yes, Lisa it's safe to come out!
Lisa: (walks up to railing next to stair case) Phew...I thought- (realizes Max is back) Dad! (Races down stairs and gives Max a great big hug)
Max: (squeezed) Hey, sweetheart.
(Lisa jumps down from hugging Max)
Blaze: (crosses arms) And now onto a more oppressing situation.
Silver: (stands up) So, it seems like we are too late, but not to late for more back up.
Max: (eye brow raised and arms crossed) What kind of back up are you suggesting?
(The scene veers onto Silver with a large smirk)
(The scene then changed to outside of Lavare City where two lovable speedy hedgehogs approach the entrance)
Niki: (weary and almost whisper) They said to keep an eye out.
Sonic: (almost whisper) Yeah, these guys don't look like the Navy.
(They reach the front gates)
(A light brown male weasel speaks)
MW: Sorry, no one is allowed in or out.
Niki: (hands on hips) And why not?
MW: (nervous) Some...things have happened.
