Nathan's POV

The carbonara was delicious and sitting next to Uriel made it special but it's time I take my leave. Uriel walked me to my car. "Did you have a nice time?"

The wind kept on blowing her hair out of place. It made her look hot. "I did. Your family is nice especially your aunt  I can tell that she loves you a lot."
"She's like my mum. You must miss yours since your miles apart."
"I do but I'm all grown up now."
"You should go now,it's late." I pulled her in for a hug "You don't know how but but you made my day special."

"I'm glad I could." I leaned in and kissed her cheek "Have a goodnight."
"You too." She watched me get into the car before walking to her doorstep. I waved at her and she waved back before I left.

They didn't care about my status. They just treated me like a normal person which was what I've always wanted. I looked forward to our next meeting.

I had no meeting today and only wanted to meet Uriel so I called her up. " Good morning."
"Good morning, who's this?" Her voice was enchanting
"It's Nathan, Uriel." Tho other side of the line was quiet "If you're still sleeping I can call later."
"No it's okay. I was going to wake up sooner or later anyways. Is everything fine?" Her voice was concerned.

"Yes. Are you working today?" I didn't want to sound desperate and scare her off. "I don't work on Sundays."
"Perfect will you be up for breakfast? That's if your comfortable." I almost stuttered
"It's fine with me just text me the address. I'll be there."

"Alright. I'll text you now." I stopped "Hold up. How about I pick you from your house instead." She seemed to be contemplating it over the silence " I guess that's okay."
"See you in twenty minutes."
"Alright Nate." She hung up and I hit the shower.

Uriel's POV

I was surprised he called earlier this morning but was excited too. He actually asked me out for breakfast.

Interesting

I was infront of my wardrobe looking for what to wear when I finally decided to go with a sequin surplice dress,it was just breakfast so I put on a little make up and styled my hair into double dutch braids. I learnt to do it on my own over the years. What can I say? One has got up be independent sometimes.

My head turned to the direction of my phone which notified me of Nathan's message and I smiled at it.

Nathan: I'm waiting outside for you

I slipped on my black flats and grabbed my sling purse where I put one of my very own books to give Nathan later on. I told aunt that I was leaving before rushing out the door to see Nathan standing by in his black drawstring trousers, blue maroon shirt and a pair of Skechers "Looking good." He started "You don't look bad yourself, good morning."
"Good morning too." He opened the passenger's door for me like a gentleman "Where are we going to?"

"You'll find out soon,just get in." I was about to ask another question but his astute eyes stopped me from going on and I got into the car. The ride wasn't silent because of the radio but he decided to speak up first "How is your aunt?"

"She's good. She really likes you."
"I noticed." I blushed and looked out the window "Did she ask why you were going out?"
"No but she'll call later."
"You sure you have nothing to do today."

"I'm sure,I might get called in but I doubt,why are you asking?" He pulled the car into a parking lot "Spend the day with me since you're free,how about that?" I was speechless "Are you asking me out?"

"Maybe, maybe not." I kept mum "So what do you say?" I had nothing to do so I might as well spend my day with my fantasy.

"Sure why not." He laughed "It took you long enough, let's go in."

He helped me out before we got in walking side by side.

Nathan's pretty much letting his intentions known, don't you think so?
