She slept like a baby the previous night and dreamt that she was in Nathan's arms. She didn't want to wake up but then she remembered she was meant to pick Paul from the airport.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and was stunned to see that she was truly in Nathan's arms. She used one if her hands to clamp her mouth shut.

He slept peacefully and snored lightly, she reached out to touch his face like she used to but stopped halfway and reminded herself that she must not give in.

She quietly got off the bed and went to the bathroom to prepare for the day. When she had finished, she came out in a robe blaming herself for not going home earlier the previous day since she had no clothes.

She drew closer to the bed and instead of finding Nathan, she saw a shirt and a note.

Your clothes are in the laundry right now but when you're done dressing up, please be down for breakfast.

Love, Nathaniel

She put the note down and wore his shirt which was long enough for her and went down for breakfast just like he wanted.

"Good morning." He said and walked up to her "Good morning... I'm not supposed to be here right now."

"Why?"

"Are you kidding me Nate? I'm supposed to be at the airport. Paul's gonna be so... Argh."

"He called but I told him I'm busy...I sent someone to get him if that helps." He grinned and she heaved a sigh of relief "That's good but I have a feeling that he'll be heading to my home now. I'll have to go."

"No no no." He repeated "Not without breakfast and your clothes at least. You don't want to show up in front of Paul in my shirt and smelling like me. Do you? Not that I mind."

"I think you've said enough. I'll stay for a while." She looked around surveying the area for the other members of the house when she realised that she was still in his shirt.

"Where's Val and Dora?"

"They aren't coming in today. I gave them the day off. We're alone, just you and I."

"I understand no need to go on about it. Where's breakfast?"

The doorbell rang and Nathan stood up to answer it while Uriel went through the television channels.

"We've got pizza babe?"

"Which one?"

"You've finally given in to me calling you babe." She laughed hysterically "You'll continue even if I try to stop you."

"It's an airfryer pizza come on let's eat." He sat on the couch and dropped the pizza on the coffee table. "It's pretty good."

"You don't have to tell me about it."

His phone buzzed and he reached over to it.

I'll be in Italy by tommorow. Just in time for the celebration.

He knew who sent it without looking at the name. Just the person he needed to spice things up. "Is it important?" She asked thinking it's work related "No, I'll attend to it later." He replied with a smirk to his face.

As expected, Uriel walked into her ancestral home and found Paul dinning with her aunt.

"Sorry I couldn't come home earlier." She said to no one in particular.

"It's okay Uriel. I told Paul that you weren't feeling well otherwise you'd have made it to the airport." She stopped "How are you feeling now?"

"Thanks aunt. I'm much better."

"That's good... I'll leave you two to talk." She went away without adding more

"Uriel..." She interrupted

"I'm sorry Paul. I should have been at the airport for you..." Paul stood and walked to her "It's okay, you have no reason to be sorry. How's your health?"

He kissed her lips

"I'm okay. You shouldn't worry about me. Have you eaten anything since you got back?" She asked "I had Gubana and bicerin before I got here as if that wasn't enough your aunt made some garlic butter turkey meatballs. I'm stuffed Uriel, I can't handle anymore...I missed you."

"I missed you too. You should rest from your long flight, I'll go change."

"Before you go, there's an invitation from Legendary hotels, they're hosting their third anniversary and Nate asked us to be in attendance."

"I'll be your date if that's what you're asking Paul."

"You're not feeling too well right? You should stay back and rest. I can go on my own."

"No Paul I'm fine and I'm coming."

"Okay but if at any point, you show the slightest symptom, you'll stay back. I'm sure Nate will understand."

If only Paul knew that if Uriel wasn't feeling good, Nate will ditch the party and be at Uriel's side.

"Nothing will happen."

"I forgot to tell you though, my parents are coming next week. They were able to clear their schedule afterall."

"That's nice to hear. I can't wait to meet them."

"They'll love you a lot Uriel trust me." She managed a small smile "I'll hold you on to that."
