Nathan's POV
The past three weeks has been uneventful for the majority of it. I left home early and came back very late, sometimes Uriel stayed up to wait for me. Just looking at her after a tiring day at work reduced my stress level.
I brought her to my home to spend more time with her but my workload kept increasing and my mission for having her with me fell apart. I recently had my schedule adjusted and after a look at it earlier, I was pleased with the result and picked up my phone.
"Uriel, are you home?"
"Yes, how are you?"
"I'm okay. I'll be back home in an hour. Get dressed we're going out for dinner."
"Don't you have work?"
"No, I want to spend time with you."
"Alright. Don't ditch work for me if that's what you're up to."
"I would choose you over anything babe,see you soon...I love you."
"Love you too."
I hung up and settled down
Uriel's POV
I was elated after the phone call and went to have a quick shower, by the time I was out I was left with forty minutes to get ready.
I rushed to my side of the closet and thankfully, Olga made me pick a few dresses just in case something comes up and I did a good job hiding it since Nathan hadn't mentioned anything about it.
I had a hard time deciding between two dresses and picked a black cut out v-wired ruched dress and a pair of black stiletto pumps. Time was going by when I started my make up after putting my hair up in a ponytail.
My phone buzzed and I looked down to it

I went all simple and put on my outfit by then I was sure that he was home when I wore my pumps.
"Hey babe." He hugged me from behind and kissed my shoulder "How was work?" I found my voice after getting lost in his cologne "Stressful but I made a new schedule." I turned to face him and he looked dumbfounded "Are you okay?"
I chuckled and he shook his head "It's nothing... you look hot." I shut him up with my lips and he responded immediately.
"Let's go." He pulled back and took my hand with a smile on his face.
