"No!"

A demanding voice jolted Tommy out of his thoughts. He had been minding his business while trotting through the snowy biome towards Snowchester. He let out a sigh as he turned behind him to see a ghost. An astral projection of Tommy's mother, Skadi, the goddess of snow, ice, and sneaking into men's pants.

"What the hell do you want?" Normally, Tommy's tone was over the top to show that he was being humorous, but this voice was low and angry.

"You don't get to pull that with me. I have been lenient long enough, allowing you to reject your divinity because you are stubborn, but I am drawing the line," Skadi said with narrowed eyes, clenching the fabric of her dark blue dress in both of her hands into fists. "I watched you die, and I couldn't do anything. You are my son, first and foremost. No matter how much you hate me, stop denying your power."

Tommy stared at her. They had this argument many times, in the late hours of the night and when the snow was freshly fallen. Ever since Tommy's birth, he had been conditioned into denying his maternal ancestry. His mortal brothers- Wilbur and Techno- couldn't look at him without seeing the reason their mother left, and Philza seemed disappointed in Tommy no matter what he did. Tommy blamed this frayed relationship on Skadi, and took his issues out on the goddess whenever she arrived to mess up with his life.

Still, she had a point. Tommy had been letting his pride get in the way of using his powers. Tommy needed to protect the life given back to him, especially with Wilbur's revival. Tommy couldn't let his cocky attitude  conquer his self preservation. It was time that Tommy faced the music, no matter how much his ears were bleeding.

"Fine, fine, fine. I'll do it. But this doesn't mean I forgive you or want anything to do with you," Tommy snapped darkly, reaching out his hand. Skadi gave him a knowing, sad smile as she grabbed his hand.

Winter exploded into Tommy's body. His eyesight glazed over while thousands of tiny pricking slammed against his skin. Goosebumps burst outwards, taking on a ghastly purple coloring. Tommy's knees slammed against the snow below him, ice starting to encase his skin. Tommy's fingers weren't able to move as the cold seeped into his bloodstream. Tommy heart were slowing, and his lungs were hesitating.

"No... I refuse... to let... you... win," Tommy pushed out those words as he willed himself onto his feet. Tommy used all his might to move his fingers until the ice cracked. Tommy rose all the way up, head held high to the sky. All at once, the winter flooded out of Tommy's system, leaving a slow waft of magical energy in his soul. Tommy smiled as he ran a hand through his hair, realizing how pale his skin had become. "Now, could you kindly fuck off?"

Skadi was gone before Tommy even asked. Tommy glared at where she was before continuing down the path to Tubbo's (and Ranboo's) house. With the mansion still getting finished, the family remained located in their small cottage. Tommy preferred the cottage, anyways, since it was more homely.

Tommy looked up at the house to see the top floor's window wide open. Hanging halfway out was Michael, who laughed giddily at Tommy while reaching out his hands. Tommy raised an eyebrow with a growing grin. Tommy wanted to hate that child, but he could never bring himself to.

Suddenly, Michael had flopped out of the window. Tommy twisted his palm, conjuring a cold wind to blow around Michael, slowing his descent so he fell right into Tommy's arms. The blonde chuckled as Michael's wide, excitedly terrified eyes.

"Tommy?"

This is really an AU set up without much plot. BASICALLY
Philza, when he was a youngster, managed to make the goddess of Death, Kristen, love him. She temporarily gave up immortality to be beside him as a human, and birthed him a pair of twins, Wilbur and Techno.
Skadi, who had been jealous, used divine magic to trick Phil into sleeping with her, resulting in Tommy. Before Phil could explain himself, Kristen went back to her godly domain, abandoning the family she had.
Phil, Tech, and Wil aren't bad, but they do hold resentment towards Tommy.
In this AU, Kristen actually doesn't hate Tommy. She understands that it isn't his fault what Skadi did or what Kristen did in her ignorance. Kristen is pog, fight me-
Skadi is, too, tho. She genuinely cares about Tommy. She wants to do right by him even when he hates her guts. She may not have made a good choice, but she was never a horrible mother. An adulteress but a caring maternal figure-
