The next day came in the blink of an eye, and soon enough. It was battle time, the Seventeen members had been practicing for hours, all the way up until they were called for costume.

"You guys ready?" Woozi asked fixing his tie in the mirror, for today's stage they all had a similar outfit coordinated.

"It should be a crime that I'm the only one in leather pants." Seungkwan grumbled as he fixed his shorts for the 12th time.

"Don't worry you look fine Seungkwan." Vernon reassured the younger, Seungkwan just huffed and attempted to slap Vernon's hand away from patting his head.

"No one forgot the choreo right?" Dino asked and they shook their heads. "With the way you thought us, I'd be scared to forget it." Wonwoo joked and Dino nodded.

"Exactly." He smiled as they made their way into the backstage wings to watch Nct preform.

"Welcome folks to the 2nd Battle Performance! Give it up for NCT DREAM with We Go Up!" Eric announced as the auditorium filled with applause from the other groups.

"I guess they also went with the summer vibe." Seungcheol said looking at the abstract set. "Probably represents their youth, they are young." Jeonghan said.

"They are all freshman." Joshua added. Nct had plenty of students from each grade.

"They really know how to dance, and sing. Especially Haechan." Dk said. "Also how does Jaemin even kick that high, I'd probably pull a muscle." He whispered to Hoshi.

"I like the song though. It has a good beat." Mingyu said as the song finished applause riled up again.

"Lets do this guys! We got this!" The8 cheered as they all cheered back.

"Please welcome Seventeen to the stage with MYMY!" Eric announced once the set was cleared and set up for the Seventeen boys.
