"Well folks! I'm back! It's your OFFICIAL host Eric Nam, here to bring forward the 9th round of this year's SBOS!" Eric announced to the crowd.

"You guys ready?" The8 asked them as they stood backstage waiting for Eric to announce their names.

"Starting off the ballad round, SEVENTEEN with Kidult!" Eric called.

Despite not all being part of Woozi's "Vocal Unit." The 13 of them sang their hearts out, and they looked good doing it.

"Woozi and Dk y'all didn't need to pop off that hard! The entire vocal industry is quaking!" Seungkwan said as they all walked back to their dressing rooms.

"Oh please, we all popped off! Kidult is top 3 material!" Dk said. "And thanks to Woozi and Joshua for making such an incredible performance!" They all applauded the 2.

They sat down right as Eric was announcing Nct's song. "Please welcome NCT DREAM with Rainbow." Eric said.

"Huh no 127 this time. I'm surprised." Wonwoo said as they continued watching in silence, no matter who was singing it was still a good song!

Speaking of good songs (as you can tell I'm an Ikonic😂) Ikon was on next. "Welcome IKON: with Just Go." Eric announced the 3rd performance.

"This challenge round proves anyone can be a rapper but still do a complete 180 and be an opera singer!" Jun said.

And speaking of 180° NO ONE WAS EXPECTING STRAYKIDS PERFORMANCE! Especially after they took 1st place home in the rap challenge.

"Please welcome STRAYKIDS with Neverending Story!" Eric announced once the set was changed from Ikons to Straykids.

"I think I may cry." Jeonghan said.

"Speak for yourself!" Seungkwan sobbed as he grabbed the box of tissues Dk had since the older was crying his eyes out too.

"This is it. This is THE performance." Mingyu applauded. "This song should be an ost for some drama!" He added.

"I second that! Like did you hear Han's highnote?! That's an ACE if I'd ever seen one!" Jun highfived Mingyu.

"Okay folks, now let's welcome our next performers: give it up for ATEEZ with Star 1117!" Eric announced.

That song actually managed to make Seungcheol cry. "Oh shush! It's a great song, I didn't judge you guys when you cried over Straykids's performance!" Seungcheol pouted.

"I will gladly go looking for star or looking for love!" Seungkwan said, it looked like he wasn't going to stop crying anytime soon.
