“Show the World”
to not hang onto the past,
means I must let this go.
Too bad,
I really wanted to get that
Gold,
To show the world,
Im more than a girl.
To show the world,
I could win by myself ,
And not be told otherwise.
To show the world
Theres more to me than meets the i.
I have tears wantin to show,
But I refuse to let them flow.
Ive cried three tears,
And that’s more than enough
For you.
Its not like you care.
Its not like it was meant to be.
But I will,
Show the world my strength,
Show the world my skill.
Show the world my power,
Without a tear brimming to spill,
I will show the world,
There is more to a girl,
Than, what meets the eye.
