“This Meadow”
This meadow so rich in color
So rich in love.
My gentle head lays gently
upon the silk sewn grass.
My eyes wonder calmly
Over the hunter green
Trees and deep baby
Blue sky. Taking
In the peaceful
Nature lullaby.
My eyes droop,
My mind not wanting this
To end; to leave this warm
Glazing sunshine, I
Make my eyes stay
Open, burning with
A lustful desir
To have a deep
Cleansing sleepy
Slumber.
My dreadful drowsiness
Soon consumes me,
I shudder as
My eyes
Open to the
Cold world.
A light smile plays
Upon my lips as
My eyes look upon
My silk sewn pillowcase,
Displaying a gorgeous
Meadow.
