Annoying Wattpad Moments {CRINGEY}

Making out=memory loss

This doesn't always make a bad story. In fact, when I see something like this, the story is usually pretty well written.

But I don't get it when the guy and girl (or two guys, or two girls) are making out, and the author uses the term "the two of them knew nothing else".

Like, what does that even mean?

Do they lose all of their memories and knowledge of their location just because they're kissing?

Ok, I get the symbolism. They're in love, nothing else matters, yeah, yeah, all that.

But do they really know absolutely nothing else?

I somehow doubt it.

Screw using that "Obliviate" spell-all you have to do is kiss someone and their memory will be gone.

"I just broke up with my boyfriend and now I can't stop thinking about him, what should I do?"

*new guy comes along* "Kiss me."

"Okay...but how is that going to help-"

"Shhh...just trust me."

Ok, so I know that was an exaggeration. I mean, I exaggerate 500% of the time.

See what I did there?

But you get the point.

I feel like sometimes I might come across as just pointing out flaws in figures of speech.

Which I sort of am, but I'm also talking about how they don't really make much sense, literal or not.

Like the phrase 'cat got your tongue'.

I currently do not wish to talk, so I'm going to make it seem like my feline companion has removed my tongue from my mouth.

Surely that would be brutal.

Right?

Ok listen up everyone!! I am stuck for ideas on this book, and while it probably won't be any time soon, this book will eventually come to an end.
