That title is already taken

When stories have either the exact same or a really similar title to one that already exists.

Why does Wattpad let people do that?

It doesn't give anyone any chance for originality.

And then I read the second book with the same name hoping it's still good, but no.

Story/idea.

Although this book mostly revolves around fanfics rather than Wattpad stories full stop, I purposely called it 'Annoying Wattpad Moments' because 'Dumb Fanfic Moments' is taken, and I didn't want my book to seem too similar and ripped off.

And then there are the sneaky little mofos that have a completely different title, but won't admit to literally copying and pasting paragraphs from an already existing story.

Do you not know what plagiarism is?

It's this little thing where your 'creative writing' isn't so creative because you can't come up with your own ideas.

And listen up y'all, inspiration and plagiarism are NOT the same thing.

Vacancy is inspired by Refill, but all the words and story lines are completely original.

Didn't those little brats in school who looked at your work for 'inspiration' and then just plagiarised and took credit teach you anything?
