This wasn't happening again. It couldn't be. Not on this fucking night. He was supposed to be here way before now. Where was he?
Those were the things that kept repeating through your brain as you tried for the fifth time to contact your husband. You and Brian had been married for four years now and sure it wasn't the best but when it was good, it was good. The only part that had been bad in your marriage to him was in fact the cheating. He cheated all the time. It had become a habit at this point and you were so tired of it. You had forgiven him, took him back in, believed he wouldn't do it again, only to get stabbed in the back again.
Tonight was yours and Brian's four year anniversary. This was a huge milestone and he was nowhere to be found. You were becoming anxious. You were furious. How dare he do this to you again. You were hoping that you weren't right. You were just hoping that maybe his job kept him late like those other times. But how many of those times had he lied to you? He had lied about it before, why wouldn't he lie again.
Looking outside your living room window, you saw that dark cloud moving in.

It's black and purple color gave you chills. No cloud should have those colors and no cloud should be that huge. You got a bad feeling in your gut that made you shiver. It was supposed to rain later tonight. According to the news it wasn't a peachy storm either. It had been growing in size the past several counties and it was finally approaching yours. You were afraid. You didn't want to be at the house alone. What if there was a tornado and you didn't make it? You figured that Brian would be happy to know that you had died without him here. At least he would have his fucking mistress after you had passed.
That disgusted you even more.
Walking away from the window, you sat down at the dinner table again. The food you had prepared still sat there, untouched. You couldn't bring yourself to even eat. Your appetite was gone along with your sanity if this son of a bitch didn't pick up his phone. He had of known that you were calling him. He just had to. No one in their right mind would go a full six hours without checking their phone. Well, unless that said person was occupied by someone else. Ugh continuing to think about it was pissing you off more. You needed to calm down.
You knew just the right person to call if you needed to calm down. You picked up your phone, searching through your contacts until you found his name. Smiling to yourself, you pressed dial.
Dean's name popped up on your phone as you put it to your ear. It rang only twice before he answered.
"Hello?"
Smiling again, you sighed. "Hey Dean."
"Oh no I know that sigh. What's going on? Where's Brian?"
You began to cry. "I don't know Dean. He won't answer my calls or texts, he's ignoring me. Today is our four year anniversary, he should be here celebrating it with me."
"When was the last time you saw him?"
You wiped the tears from your eyes and answered. "Last I saw him was this morning at seven before he went to work."
