Wat Arun was just right across Wat Pho. It was one of the most stunning temples in the capital and its design was unique.

"Thanks to this Thai friend here, ang dami kong na-experience today." Bank was walking ahead of her kaya may laya siyang masilayan ang estrangherong kaibigan mula sa likuran nito.

She was genuinely happy with how things turned out for the day. "Well, always expect the unexpected."

He stopped walking and he stared back at her with a serious face. Since he was wearing a mask, his smile was invisible from her sight.

"Ngaraak mak." Bulong ni Bank sa sarili. It means "very cute" in the Thai language. And he started walking ahead of her again.

They enjoyed the beautiful architecture and fine craftsmanship of Wat Arun. One highlight that anyone can enjoy in this sight was the sunset.

"Yikes! Ang lamig!" She reacted sabay kuha sa dala ng kaibigan.

"Huh?"

"I said, the soda is cold. Lamig is a Filipino word for cold." Paliwanag ni Ev.

"Ohh, I see. How about beautiful? How do you say it in your language?"

"Ma-gan-da." She pronounced the word carefully so he can copy it. At saka ininom ang malamig na soda to quench her thirst.

"Maganda."

"Yes, like the sunset, it's very maganda," sabi ni Ev habang nakatitig sa view na nasa harap nila ngayon. She couldn't explain her emotions at that moment. She was in awe with the view, thankful for what she had experienced for the whole day, and especially to him, the stranger Thai friend whom she shared her first day in Thailand.
