The Untold Romance

Chapter 9.

Hinintay nina Sheldon at Grace na matapos ang shift nina Trixy at Ev. It was already 12 midnight but they knew their friend needed them.

"Hey, why are you guys still here? Diba 7AM ang duty niyo tomorrow?" Lumapit si Ev sa dalawa as she just finished her last round for her shift.

"Ahhh, wala lang. Trip lang naming tumambay sa hospital, alam mo naman kami mga loyals!" Pabirong sagot ni Sheldon.

When they arrived at the women's comfort room earlier ay nakalabas na si Ev and she was already back on her feet kung kaya't di nalang nila tinanong ito.

"At tsaka, matagal-tagal narin tayong di nakakapag karaoke eh kaya tara!" Grace declared an invitation to her friends.

Wala namang magawa si Ev at sumangyon narin si Trixy.

They ate dinner first sa mumurahing carenderia malapit sa hospital. Pagkatapos ay pumunta sila sa isang Karaoke Bar and rented a private room.

Nauna ng pumili ng kanta sina Sheldon at Trixy at nag-enjoy. Nanood lang si Ev sa kanila at paminsan-minsan ay sumasabay siya sa kantahan.

"Oh, your turn besh. Pili ka na ng kanta diyan. Sulitin natin ang isang oras natin dito!" Sigaw ni Sheldon sa kanya dahil sa maingay kung kaya't naka high volume ito.

She grabbed the song lists and searched for a song. When it was her turn ay binigay ni Grace sa kanya ang microphone.

The intro tune of I'll Never Love This Way Again by Jona played, and her friends only watched her.

She started singing. Her friends got silent at nagpapakiramdaman sa mga next na mangyayari. Maganda ang boses ni Ev, ika nga nila pwede nang sumali sa Tawag ng Tanghalan but it wasn't her dream to become a singer.

Pagkatapos niyang matapos ang unang chorus ay tuloy-tuloy na ang bagsak ng kanyang mga luha hanggang sa napaluhod na siya.

She never thought she would invest too much emotion for a guy she only got to know for only three days. If only things got cleared up before they separated that day, she wouldn't have had to expect anything.

Nilapitan siya ng tatlo niyang mga kaibigan and they hugged her without asking anything. They just let her cry out until she felt the time to share with them the truth.

They stayed in that position for almost 10 minutes, at ng mahimasmasan ay umupo sila sa couch.

"I'm sorry for keeping these from you. I never meant to lie but –"

"Sshh, we understand. No need to explain. If you feel the need to share it with us, we're just here alam mo yan Ev," Trixy stopped her.

Kahit hindi na sabihin ni Ev ang buong storya ay parang na'gets na nilang tatlo ang buod ng mga kaganapan subalit they will still wait for their friend until she feels ready to share everything.

It's been a week at hindi niya na muling nakita si Bank. Sa isip niya ay baka bumalik na nga ito ng Thailand kasama si Natheerin.

She moved forward with her life. Nakwento narin ni Sheldon kung sino nga ba si Bank which at first she found so absurd kasi ala-KDrama lang ang storya nila. Her friend showed her pictures of him, his Instagram, and his profile.
