"Hey, uh, I should get going." I spoke up once I put my clothes back on.
"Evie-"
"This was nice and everything, but it's time to go back to how things were, I know. I'll see you around, or not, I don't know." I stumbled upon my words.
"Eves, I want things to go back to how they were before everything happened."
"But they just can't because you won't even talk to me half the time then you do this."
"You don't understand why I can't talk to you though." I felt the anger begin to grown inside of me.
"I understand clearly Luke, you didn't want to put up with me anymore but then you have these small moments where you miss me because of everything we've been through yet I am over here missing you 24/7." I huffed, storming out of his apartment before he could get another word in.
I don't think Luke had ever made me this angry, I stomped all the way down to my car, getting in and slamming the door before angrily trying to get my keys into the ignition.
I started up the car, speeding away and I knew I shouldn't be driving, not like how I was anyways, not with how angry I was, but I continued to do it, not even paying attention to my surroundings.
Everything bad that had been going on lately was rushing through my head, my phone started ringing and I looked down to see it was Derek and that's the last thing I remember before everything went black.
Calum's P.O.V. (yay)
I was in the middle of getting ready when my phone started ringing, I almost didn't answer it, especially when I saw the random number but I'm glad I did anyways.
"Calum, it's Luke-"
"I'm going to hang up."
"Nonono, Evie's been into a car accident, Calum! They just called me." The boy sounded like he was crying and panic was rushing through me as I heard him jingling around with keys or something.
"She's at the hospital in downtown, meet me there." He said out of breath.
"Luke, I fùcking hate you, but don't drive like an idiot, be safe." I rambled before clicking the end button and rushing out the door.
How in the hell had she been in an accident? She's one of the safest drivers I know. I will literally kill whosever fault this is.
I was speeding the whole way there but still making sure to be careful, we didn't need two accidents in one day. I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt once I arrived, running in.
"Luke, where is she? How is she?"
"They said we can go see her soon. She's still unconscious but they said it wasn't too bad, but she's still pretty scraped up."
"And it's all my fault, Calum." I turned around angrily to see him.
"What in the fùck do you mean it's your fault?"
"After the family thing yesterday, she was so tired so I just let her crash at mine but this morning we got into another argument over you know what and she was so angry, Calum, I shouldn't of let her go."
"You have 30 seconds to get out of here before I beat your ass, Hemmings." I said through gritted teeth.
I was overreacting a bit, it wasn't necessarily his fault but all of this was still new to me and I was just angry and ready to take it out on whoever. This was still plenty some of his fault though, he shouldn't of let her leave but he should've just left her alone in the first place. She must've been so angry she wasn't paying attention to the roads.
"What?!" He squeaked.
"I love her, I want to see her, too."
"You don't love her." I said.
"Calum, you know the situation, you know what's going on, you know that I love her but you know why I can't do anything about it."
"Just leave, she isn't going to want to see you right now anyways, neither do I. I want to beat the shít out of you right now."
"I deserve it."
