Derek had been really controlling lately, he would barely let me hangout with Calum and I lived with the guy! Controlling was never a good sign but I tried to brush it off since time had flown by and prom was tonight.

I decided to stay in bed most of the day until Lexi brought it upon herself to drag, and I mean literally drag me out of bed to help get me ready. Which I couldn't really complain because I did need all the help I could get.

Derek and I obviously decided to go together, though we still werent anything too official, we practically were together and I didn't want to go alone.

I tried not to get bummed out at the fact Luke wasn't taking me, again, he shouldn't be my favorite person but he promised to take me a few years back and who knew a few years later we wouldn't even be on friendly terms.

"Okay, how do you want your makeup done?"

I had to actually think about this for a moment, I wanted something dramatic but then I went back to being realistic and realized it would be easier to keep it as simple as possible.

"Just keep it simple, yet as dramatic looking as possible, please?" I smiled.

Lexi and I had become really close since I met her and it was definitely a change to have a close friend that was a girl but it was also most certainly a nice change.

I sat patiently in my seat as I wasted for Lexi to finish doing my hair and makeup, I wasn't able to sit still for the last half but she pushed through and dealt with it. I was really appreciative of her because I didn't know how to do any of this plus she still had to get ready.

"Done." She spun me around.

I stood up, walking over to the full length mirror and examining myself. I only just saw myself and I already feel confident. That was a new feeling but something I enjoyed.

"Thank you so much!" I screamed, running over to her to hug her.

"Now go put on your dress and shoes while I finish getting ready, they'll be here soon."

I wondered off to my room to do exactly as she said but my phone wouldn't stop ringing. Eventually I got fed up enough and walked over to my nightstand table to look at it.

I waited a little bit before responding, wondering why he "needs" to see me and if maybe it was just some sick joke, or prank type situation. I sighed out, thinking of a response before replying with something basis.

Don't worry about why just know I need to see you tonight!

Is this some prank?

Im not that low eves, I'll see you soon, I know you'll look more beautiful than usual if that's even possible x

I couldn't stop myself from smiling at the text, maybe tonight would be a good night, one way or another that's what I wanted to make sure would happen.

I slide on my thigh high, skintight black dress that hugged my curves in all the right places before throwing on my black heels to match. I felt very elegant, what I was wearing wasn't exactly me but I still like it.

"Lex, you look gorgeous! and thanks again for helping me get ready."

"No problem, love. Now, let's get going, the boys are on their way here."
