I woke up groggily, not remember anything. I slowly opened my eyes that felt like they hadn't been open in a long time. I looked around, noticing I was in a hospital room and immediately started freaking out, suddenly remembering everything, making my head hurt.

"Calm down, calm down." Calum tried to soothe me, rubbing my back.

I tried to even out my breathing and it took a while but I got ahold of it. I can't believe I got into a wreck, I am so stupid. I should've been paying attention.

"How are you feeling? I need to go get the nurse."

"I'm alright, I think. You can go get her." I smiled.

I had a couple minutes to think to myself and let everything sink in. I hope nothing too serious was wrong and hopefully I wouldn't have to stay in this place too long.

"How are you feeling?" I heard the nurse ask.

"I'm feeling quite alright, actually."

"Well, thankfully there's no real damage, just some cuts and bruises that we've bandaged up. We still want to keep you overnight just to be sure though." She smiled before leaving.

Overnight? That's not too bad, I figured I would have to stay for at least a couple days. I was so thankful that nothing too bad had happened.

"It's already kind of late, I'm going to stay here, okay?"

"Calum, no. You heard her, I'm fine, just go home and rest up, I doubt you've left since I have been here."

"I'm not going anywhere."

"Calum, I'll be fine. You can come get me tomorrow, please go home." I begged, suddenly feeling bad.

"Are you sure?"

"100 percent positive."

"Alright, I love you. Call me if you need anything."

"Miss, you have a visitor. Haven't left since you've been here , is it okay if the person comes back?"

"Sure." I nodded.

I suddenly got scared that it was my "mother" or someone like that, who else would it be? Plus, she didn't specify who it was or what gender the person was.

Once the person walked through, all my questions were answered. I feel in a way I should've expected him to show up but I didn't, because in reality, he shouldn't. He's "tired" of me, so why does it seem like he's still trying to stick around?

"What are you doing here?" I choked out, sitting up.

"Check up on you." He turned around, facing away from me.

"You don't care, so, why are you really here?" He turned back around to glare at me.

"Eves, don't you dare say I don't care about you. You know I do, no matter what I say that's the one thing you can always count on, me caring about you."

"Plus, I feel like it was my fault." He sighed.

"Luke, you're here because of guilt? It wasn't your fault, now leave."

"Evie, don't do this. Calum already hates me and wants to beat me up. I just want to spend time with you, I'm so worried." I sighed.

"I'm fine, just leave, please."

"Just let me stay." He begged.

"Fine, but all I'm going to do is watch tv and fall asleep."

"That's fine by me."

I flipped through the stations for a while, trying to find something I like. I ended up settling on some cartoon but turned the volume down so it wouldn't be so obnoxious.

I looked over to see Luke trying to get comfortable, I guess he planned on staying the night which I didn't really mind because I liked having someone with me, I always slept better when someone was.

"Luke, just come over here and cuddle me."

He smiled, instantly taking up the offer and walking over. He pulled the thin sheet up, getting under it with me. I stayed on my back while he laid on his side with his arm draped over me, and that's how we fell asleep.
