The last couple weeks of my life had actually been quite eventful. School was coming to an end, everyone was freaking out about prom that's the weekend after next.

Calum had finally asked out Lexi, Derek and I had been on a few dates, Josh and Marie were doing their own thing, and life was going good for once, surprisingly.

Sally had been messing with me again, but I was able to ignore it for the most part. I finally told myself that I wouldn't allow her to ruin my mood, or any of the good things going on in my life.

I was currently walking to lunch with Calum but once I arrived, I wish I didn't. Sally was all over Luke as I walked by, that I didn't care much about, it's the fact she stopped me to make a scene.

"Can you stop eyeing my boyfriend?" Boyfriend? I laugh lightly

"What are you sad that he lost his virginity to me?" That really made me laugh.

Calum tried to stop her but I put a hand over his chest. I was so ready to start sticking up for myself and this is the most perfect time to start. Luke was about to stop her as well but I got up on the lunch table, catching everyone's attention.

"Can I have everyone's attention? Sally here just tried to hurt me by claiming my douchebag of an ex best friend lost his virginity to her but I think the mòans coming out of his mouth that night we went to the cabin would say otherwise, don't you Luke? Remember? How close we were and how beautiful you wanted me to realize I was and how mad you got when I left your sorry ass the next morning. I don't regret it, I just regret you turning into what you did, that's all."

Calum helped me down off the table, laughing a little and whispering a "good job" with a high five to me. Sally had her mouth wide open, too shocked to even try and fight back. Luke had an obvious blush on his face as he looked down.

I turned around to see a not so amused looking Derek, and now it was my turn to blush. He wasn't meant to hear that, any of it but what's done is done. I saw him walk out and I wanted to chase after him but I think he needed time to calm down.

We all headed to our normal lunch table and acted as if nothing ever happened while the rest of the school whispered about what just happened. I had a permanent smirk on my face, proud at what I had just done.

"I heard what happened at school." Lexi said as I entered my apartment.

"Yeah, I'm proud of myself for not letting her get to me anymore, she's obviously going out of her way too."

"She's just lucky I don't go to that school." Lexi joked.

"How about you invite Derek over and we do a double date?" Calum suggested.

"I think he's somewhat mad at me after what he overheard today."

"What? He has no reason to be, that's the past."

"Yeah, but I would be a bit irritated if I was in his position, too."

"Plus, I can just stay here, I don't want to be a third wheel." I added.

"Nonsense, go put your jacket on, let's go get pizza."

Derek: hey what's up up?

You: just third wheeling with cexi

Derek: cexi?

You: Calum and Lexi

Derek: oh well you should've invited me

You: I was going to but I thought you were mad at me )-:

Derek: why would I be mad at you?

You: oh idk nvm

You: meet us at Giano's pizzeria?

Derek: sure be there in 10 x

Derek seemed like he was faking the smile on his face which made me feel like he really was upset or angry but what he found out today. I tried my best to ignore it but I could just tell something was off about him.

I think I would've rather not invited him because I didn't like having to fake like everything was okay if it obviously wasn't, I guess I would have to talk to him about it later.

ok my last few chaps have been so shit I apologize like ik it's getting boring but it's going to start picking up now it should be over soon bc school is over in like a month and a half so Im not sure how many more chapters I will fit in but everything will make sense soon again I apologize for the bad chaps pls don't stop reading yet
