The three of them stood outside the coven home. It was way more beautiful than Logan imagined. It was a grand building that seemed to have traces of grey moonstone throughout. Ivory covered up most of its walls. From the outside you would assume it was old fashioned school. It gave off the presence of pure magic. Diana had mentioned that even for supernaturals that weren't witches or Wiccans could feel it's power but they couldn't enter or even see it unless given permission to do so. "It's like a massive illusion, '' she'd described. Even the door was huge. It was made of oak and had a knocker only a man with giant hands could use. Logan thought it stupid to have a knocker for a building that no one could enter unless you already lived there.

"So" he said, breaking the silence "What are you gonna tell them?" he looked at the two of them standing side by side. Kairo shrugged and glanced at Diana. After a deep intake of breath he finally spoke. "I just don't trust you. And I'm not sure when I will be able to". Logan moved towards Diana waiting for her response, but she moved back indicating it was a situation that they had to sort out themselves. "I get it" Logan said "But the thing is... If you go in there blurting it out none of them will trust me either. And we won't get anywhere if everyone is too busy being scared of the hybrid among them". Diana took a step back into the conversation "I'll keep it a secret. For now. But I won't do it forever. You have to come clean at some point". Logan nodded in agreement and turned back to Kairo who wouldn't make eye contact with him. "Okay. I'm the same."

Entering the coven house was like visiting royalty. Everything was in pristine condition. Not one thing that was out of place. Diana led them down a long hallway. At the end was a room with the door closed. All was quiet as if no one was around. Diana opened the door revealing the biggest room in the house. Filled with sofas and bookshelves. More like a library rather than a living room. And still there was no one inside. "Where is everyone?" Kairo was weary as if he had some unsettled nervous feeling rolling around inside his brain. Logan couldn't figure out if that was because of or because of the suspicious quietness. Diana looked just as confused. She was worried. "Something happened," she admitted. She walked over to the other side of the room examining the windows "It's broken" she pointed to the broken glass scattered on the window sill. "But how?" asked Logan "You said no one could gain access". Diana was muttering a small spell that fixed the window but she acknowledged Logan's question. "There's only two ways" she said it as if it were obvious "Either a witch is a traitor or a witch is being used. But-" she brightened "We have procedures for such things. Follow me" She left the room quickly with the boys struggling to keep up with her at a normal pace. She fled up the stairs that were just outside the door and down another hallway. Passing even more rooms. "What's with all of this?" Logan asked, indicating the many rooms. His curiosity gets the better of him. Without looking behind her Diana called back "This used to be a school. It had to be closed down". She stopped at a random painting on the wall. Which was the only painting in the entire hallway. She muttered more words under her breath and the wall started to shimmer. The painting faded before all the eyes as did the wall revealing more steps upwards. Without a second thought Diana continued up them. "That was cool as hell" Kairo grinned before following Logan behind him. At the top of the stairs was another room. Only this one was less grand than the rest of the house. It clearly wasn't as visited as the other rooms. It had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. One small sofa that sat Maverick and Adam and no windows or carpet. "Thank God" Diana was relieved and rushed over to hug Maverick. "I need to talk to you in private" she whispered into his ear. None of the others seemed to hear it but Logan was able to pick it up with his super hearing. Maverick stood. "Adam can catch you boys up with the events" he said simply and took Diana by the arm leading her back down the stairs they had just emerged from.

Adam caught the two boys up. As soon as him and Maverick received Diana's telepathic message they immediately made their way to the coven house. Maverick was worried the whole time but he trusted Diana to handle herself rather than interfering. Adam couldn't see the house when the first arrived. He described it as like having a magical headache until Maverick allowed him permission to see it. When they entered the house Maverick's mood changed even worse than what it had been before. He could sense something was wrong the minute they entered and practically ran to the main room. Logan did wonder if Diana had the same feeling when she showed up. Once Maverick discovered the window he took Adam to the secret room but left him there so that Maverick could examine the grounds. He found nothing. "So we just locked ourselves up here and waited for you" Adam finished. "But where's the others?" asked Kairo ''The other witches?" as if it wasn't obvious who he meant. "There is more than one secret room in the house" Maverick and Diana had come back and had stayed put at the top of the stairs. "They'll be scattered throughout no doubt to lessen the chances of everyone being attacked" Diana came forward with papers in her hand "This is a map of the house, the grounds everything you need to know '' she said to Logan. "Know for what?". She handed him the papers but he didn't take them. "We're gonna have to split up and look for clues. Seeing as you two are..." she paused, almost having to stop herself. "Vampires' ' she breathed "We need you to try and figure out what went on here. Us three will split up and find everyone else". Kairo stepped in and took the papers from Diana before Logan could find a way to complain "No problem" he said. Logan could tell there was something about her. For something to trouble a witch it had to be pretty big.

"This is such bull shit" Logan and Kairo were in the small forest just behind the coven house. This was the part of the grounds that passersby were able to see, meaning that they had to be careful when using their abilities. "It's not our family or our majestic home" It didn't take long for Logan to voice his opinion about things. Even when he was barely doing any work for them. Kairo rolled his eyes ''She saved my life. She's helping keep you a secret. I think we owe her '' Kairo was doing a fine search for clues just hoping he'd find the slightest thing that could help. "I just remember the good old days when we didn't have this stupidity to worry about. We could just go out and be vampires with no other care in the world". Kairo was searching the bushes when he replied "Is that how you remember it? Because I think me and you have experienced two completely different timelines' ' He started to wander down a path that led to a nearby pond "This is actually quite tame to what you put us through". Logan followed him down the path. Ahead of them there was the pond surrounded by trees and bushes. Hardly any light shining through allowing a sort of glow to cover the area. "Wait" Logan put his arm out to stop Kairo in his tracks and held a finger to his own lips before Kairo could protest. Once he had his attention he moved his finger from his lips and pointed to the patchy bit of grass to their left. There were sticks piled up and the grass around black. Someone had lit a campfire here. There was still smoke coming from the sticks meaning whoever had made it hadn't left that long ago. Or they were still around. Hiding. Both of the boys started to look around them without moving another step. Trying to peer through any of the bushes. "Anything?" Kairo whispered. Logan shook his head and pointed back over to the campfire. They practically tiptoed over. As they came closer to it they could notice new details about. There were disposable cups surrounding it. Rubbish and beat up an old tent that had wrecked lying close to the fire. What the hell went on here? Logan thought to himself. Until his eyes landed upon something. As he walked closer to the campfire Kairo took off towards more bushes on the far side searching for any tracks. Little did he know that Logan had come upon something far more interesting. Laying at his feet was a small page torn from an old book. Logan picked it up for a better look. On both sides there was a spell meaning it must have been stolen from the coven home. Logan couldn't make out what the spells were exactly but they didn't look good. The pictures on either side showed supernaturals being taken in in one way or another. Supernatural haters. Thought Logan. No, not haters. Hunters. Had the hunters been here? But how would they have gotten in? What are they trying to do?

Logan and Kairo took the page back to Diana. This time going up the stairs they could hear a lot more voices than before. Once they reached the top they could see that two more girls had joined them. Logan assumed they were Diana's sisters. One of them was tall and red headed. Logan assumed she was Gina witch of the fire realm. The other was slightly shorter and bright blonde, almost white hair. Samantha of the wind realm. Logan briefly wondered why Diana seemed to be the only one who did resemble her powers. But his thoughts were quickly interrupted. "It's definitely an anti-supernatural spell book" she said, glancing back at her sisters. "It's the one that has the spell to turn them human" They all stood rigid. Logan looked from Cairo to Adam. They all have the same confused look on their faces. "What does that mean?" Logan said feeling fed up of being kept out of the witches loop. "She wouldn't," Gina said, disregarding Logan and carrying on. "Some one tell us what the hell is going on or the next time you bastards want help you wont get it!" Logan shouted, fully annoyed now. Diana looked apologetic. "It's my other sister..'' The Witch of the earth realm thought Logan. "She's going to turn herself into a human". Before anyone could respond a loud crash could be heard coming from downstairs. Everyone in the room immediately had their defenses up and rushed towards the stairs. Maverick first with the vampire boys after him and the witches behind them. Another loud crash sent them heading back for the large room that Logan and Kairo had first seen but what they saw this time was unexpected. Inside stood the two vampire hunters before them. They'd crashed through the window but were unharmed. No one else was with them. How could they possibly even see this place? "Zoe?" said a voice behind them. Logan assumed Samantha "You know them?" Kairo said viscously which surprised Logan. His eyes darted to Diana demanding an explanation "She's my sister"
