When You Returned

Chapter 4

3RD PERSON  
 
The whole class was shocked, everyone had heard about the small boy who disappeared without a trace 10 years ago.
 
Izuku was nervous that there were so many new people but felt safe with his childhood friend with him. He leaned into Katsuki's chest and looked at all the people around him.
 
He noticed a red headed boy looking really happy at Katsuki, the boy caught Izuku's eyes and waved with a big smile.
 
Izuku looked away shyly with a small blush on his face, he didn't really pay attention to anyone else until he noticed the man in front of the kids and about 2 meters in front of where he stood with Katsuki.
 
He recognised the man instantly as his favourite hero and idol he got really shy "Gyyaahh" he yelped and hid his face in Katsuki's chest.
 
"Is he ok?" Aizawa asked Katsuki concerned for the small child. "I think so, Izu what is it?" Izuku looked up at Katsuki and then his favourite hero and blushed.
 
"Ewa-Ewaswer aggh" he looked down a little frustrated that he couldn't tell Katsuki that he was exited his favourite person in the world was right in front of them.
 
Aizawa was confused at the child who seemed to struggle to get his words out 'Must be nervous' he thought to himself. Katsuki however noticed he was trying to say a big word.
 
Izuku's face lit up at the realisation he had his Eraserhead stuffie, he shoved it in Katsuki's face causing the taller boy to stumble back a little.
 
When Katsuki saw the stuffie he made an 'O' face and laughed "I get it Izu" he ruffled his hair causing Izuku to giggle.
 
"What is it then?" Aizawa questioned. Izuku blushed and looked away while Katsuki held up the home made Eraserhead plushie.
 
"He was trying to say Eraserhead, you were always his favourite hero and now he's embarrassed that you're here. Right Izu?" Izuku nodded and made a uh huh noise.
 
All the girls and even most of the boys in the class thought he was adorable.
 
Aizawa blushed slightly at what he just heard "where did you get this plushie? Not many people know about me so there isn't that much merch"
 
Izuku was happy that Eraserhead had shown an interest in him so he smiled and answered him " I may it.
"You made it?" Katsuki asked smiling at Izuku.

"Uh huh mama leme may lots of tings" (Mama let me make lots of things) Izuku said happily remembering his Mama.
 
Aizawa looked almost embarrassed that someone had gone through the trouble just to have a toy of him.
 
"Why does he talk like that Bakubro?" Kirishima asked. "Oh well when we were little he always struggled to talk, he couldn't really say anything properly.
 
The doctors said if he did certain vocal exercises everyday he would get better. I guess since he disappeared it went differently"
 
The class listened and nodded at the explanation "I twalk bwettew now" (I talk better now) Izuku said with a pout. The class awwed at how cute he was.
 
"Mmm you've gotten a lot better huh?" Izuku giggled and nodded his head.
 
"How about we take him to U.A and get him checked out and we can call a detective for questioning, you can stay with him if you like Bakugo" Aizawa said in his usual monotone manner.
 
"Wah you In yuuiaii?" (Wow your in U.A?) Izuku questioned looking up at Katsuki in awe "yep I told you I'd be number 1" Katsuki responded with a smirk.
 
Izuku blushed and smiled "Nwumba won" Izuku shouted holding up one finger to Katsuki’s face giggling.
 
Katsuki smiled and held Izuku's hand while they walked to U.A.
 
________ Small time skip _________
 
Aizawa had told the class to go back to U.A and train while he and Katsuki took Izuku to the police station.

On the way there Aizawa couldn't help but notice the change in Katsuki's behaviour.
 
He was so gentle to the boy, holding his hand and making sure he doesn't trip while walking.
 
When they got to the station Izuku and Katsuki were sat in a room in front of a metal table with Aizawa opposite them.
They were waiting for the detective to join them.
 
Shortly after they had been seated detective Tsukauchi walked into the room with a file in his hand.
 
The man sat down next to Aizawa who greeted him with a slight nod. The detective opened the file which was the case file for Izuku.
 
The man then looked at Izuku who was sat as close to Katsuki as he could get with one hand wrapped around his arm while the other gripped his picture and stuffie.
 
"Hello Izuku my name is Tsukauchi, my quirk allows me to know when someone is lying. I would like to ask you a few questions is that ok?"
 
Izuku's eyes widened as he heard the mans quirk "waah tas cool, ca i tes it?" Tsukauchi was told by Aizawa that the boy struggled to talk but he was still shocked to hear it.
