As the morning dew's shine lights down upon the city of Grandeur, inside the painted concrete walls of the Forselli Manor within the extravagant Inner Wall, with its marble tiles and expensive wooden walls doused with a fine wallpaper that showed the many native flowers of the Kingdom and paintings littering every hall and corner with lighting using Enchanted Stones than candles.
In the room of the youngest daughter, Bahamut was with Jackson, the two still awake though the man was yawning loudly. "Master, you've been awake the entire night. You must rest." Looking at the floor with its fine rug, Grifvet, Pierence, Eattare, and Ingraine were all on it, sleeping soundly. "Yeah, I will later. This isn't my first rodeo anyways. You should've seen me back then, four straight days of nonstop combat. Didn't miss a blink even at night."
His hand was on top of the bed, with two of his fingers squishing Bahamut's tail which was entangled with his index as the young girl's corrosive burns had nearly all but disappeared. "Have you found out what's the origin of this curse, Master?" with his spare hand, he lays his chin on top of it. "Yeah, it seemed to have come from a Low Level Player who needed money. Probably didn't have any idea what he had in hand. He's lucky he didn't touch the stone."
A knock came and coming in was a middle aged gentleman wearing silk robes. Carrying a bag full of items, he peeks in first, bowing his head as the doorway was blocked by Eattare's body. "Excuse me, I am Doctor Etton from the University, I've come to do my daily check." the Dragon immediately turned to him. "You've done well slowing the curse. I see Men in this world are just as competent as the ones I know."
He immediately shrugs his head, slowly walking in with his socks on. "Oh, you give me too much, Miss Dragon. I am unable to stop the curse. My effort merely prolonged her suff-" as he got near, his eyes opened wide at the sight of the young girl's porcelain skin returning back. "By the Holy Sword...!" Etton smiles as he knelt by the bedside, holding the girl's hand. "It's a miracle! The curse! It wasn't only proactive, but whenever I tried to unravel it, it'd attack me too. If it weren't from my trained body, I would've suffered the same as her."
"But what did you assess?" He looked at the small Dragon atop the girl's chest. "It's... like a rot, a corrosion that uses the toxicity of Arsenic as a secondary weapon." He then opens his bag, taking a flask and dousing his hands with alcohol and putting a pair of linen gloves on and a mask. Lifting the girls small lanky arms, he carefully observes it. "It seems to also feed off of Mana, using it to fuel itself. It's a miracle her Young Lady is still alive. I've done my best to keep her vitality low, thus keeping the curse at bay... but how did you remove it?"
"You are correct in your assessment Healer, it is indeed a Curse that slowly Rots a body but it's the Nature of it that is wrong." She then turns to Jackson who was already beginning to fall asleep. "As Master found. The locket case your patient's family bought off that Chosen One holds an Ancient Cursed rock. To remove it, you must take the offensive yourself, use your Mana to destroy it carefully." She then crawls up to the girl's pretty face, her claws tapping her forehead. "She herself is aware of the curse within her. It took some effort but she should be back in her normal self within a few months."
Crawling down to the young lady's right side, she proceeds to look up the Doctor. "It mutates a disease and uses it as a weapon. The more Magic you use, the more stronger it gets. The basis of Anti God and Anti Life Magic. It's best cure? You burn it away. I've had her vomit multiple times last evening and you will need to keep this up for a week at least." She then crawls back to the top of the girl and smiles at Etton. "But still, your effort paid off well. If it weren't for you, she would've never lasted till our arrival, thank you."
He merely bowed his head at the Dragon. "Mix a Southern Region Pusleni Cow's Gallstone, Any Sheep's Liver will do, just make sure it's old, and some flowers that help with digestion. Master, hand them some essence. I'll teach the Magician here on how to make it." he suddenly awakens and nods. "Uh, sure. Bahamut, I'll also crush the Demon Humming Stone later. It'll make for good Anti Divine Buff." standing up, he stretches his arms and tiptoes his way through the bodies on the floor and then to the door. "For a Dragon, you seem to be very well versed in Medicine for Man."
