Rays of the foreign sun slowly disappear into the horizon as the city's lights come on. What little there was that was still functional gave what glimmer of life the skyscrapers longed miss. Jackson, still in his skeleton form, was with the Princess on the entrance of the Hospital. On the large broken name only left with three letters.

There were so many wounded that the sidewalks and streets were full of gurneys and field medical tents. More and more Mages with experience on Healing were being brought in through helicopters from Villages and nearby Towns with Holy See Churches. Soon, logistics had to be set up to begin reinvigorating the dilapidated structures as players got to work in making the street lamps functional again.

In the entire section of the city, only the Hospital had rooms full of lights. Although there was some sporadically scattered with one or two weak points of illumination from the surviving lightbulbs after years of neglect, it was mostly dark beyond the block with only the headlights of vehicles giving shine to the overgrown veins that had taken control.

"General Jackson?" Looking a bit down, he looked at the cute Princess, with such an attractive face combined with the gown, he couldn't tear away his empty eye sockets from looking at her. "O-oh, I hope you can transmit to the Queen that we wish no harm." lifting her small hand up her mouth, she smiled at him, her beaming expression felt like a warm embrace as he just breathed out in peace. "Of course General. We'll make the arrangements and open up peace talks with you just as your leader has requested. The Nobility won't have a choice too, after experiencing such a defeat."

"Good, and I've gotten the latest report about Prince Sigured... eh uhhh..." scratching his scalp, the man looks back at the hospital first before facing her again. He's suffered almost all imaginable injuries known to man. BUT! He is somehow recovering... somehow..." rubbing his chin, he only shrugs at the report he read an hour ago. "Our Top Healer said he has some sort of self regeneration of some sort even though he isn't a Vampire."

She lowers her hand down to her upper chest, lightly breathing out. "That is very good news. I am sure the Pontifex and the Kingdom of James would be pleased to hear this." gurneys were still being pushed into the ER Department as civilian ambulances with broken bumpers would park at the main road, dropping off their wounded patient before disappearing into the nightly plains.

An awkward silence came after as he went back to scratching the back of his neck, his right boot tapping the floor as he thought of some topic to speak about. He instantly remembers the Holy See and the stuff he heard from the people of the land after helping out in transport and logistics.

"Who is that Deus Vrax person anyways? Is he some Man who rose to Godhood? And what about the original God of Man in this world? Is it forgotten now?" His sentence was followed by a weak laugh as Mary could make out that he's trying to make conversation.

Seeing his gaze avoid her, a small smirk appears on her pretty pale face. "God Deus Vrax was formerly a Dragon Knight. Born between a father that is of Man's kin and a Dragonkind mother." This made Jackson look at Bahamut who was wrapped up around his neck like a scarf, thanks to having no flesh, her spiky back and tail didn't matter.

"He became one of the most important figures of this land's history. He defeated what was arguably the strongest Demon King that ever came to be, supported by numerous Cosmic Gods... though..." her head then turned to look at the many players, her finger playing with the long locks of her white hair. "It may seem that that won't be the case anymore."

"And why exactly is there a big religion about him? And what's with their symbol? It's literally a big sword used as a cross." She opens her hands, revealing the small bracelet that has the same logo as the Holy See's. "It's the sword of Deus Vrax, the sword that gave Man its freedom, freedom to go Good and Evil and Both. The blade of Man's faith to survive and thrive. When he rose to Godhood, he left this sword for Man's Heroes to use against the Evils that awaits us in the future."
