Things were still tense between the New Directions and the Troubletones, but I had to admit that this version of Hot for Teacher Puck was performing with Blaine and Mike doing the backup vocals and Finn with the drumming was quite enjoyable and helped dispel some of the tension that has reigned the last weeks in the choir room.

"Woah, guys, spectacular!" Mr Schue cheered when they finished. "What a way to start off this week! You guys didn't even need an assignmtent to work on this. You just did!"

"Mr Schuester!" Rachel interrumpted. "While the performance was excellent, particularly the drumming, don't you think that the subject matter is a bit inappropriate?"

"Well, that depends on what Puck's intent was when he chose this song" our teacher said.

"And as if you didn't have a crush on Mr Schue two years ago" I giggled, making Rachel giving me an elbow in the ribs. "Ouch".

"I guess I jus, uh, dig Van Halen" he uttered.

"All right, rock on!" Mr Schue exclaimed as everyine clapped. Well, everyone except me, or at least my applause was a bit suspicious. Come on, that silence before answering? That lost glance to the corridor? He was hiding something. And I didn't like it. Not even a little bit. I usually didn't trust the mohawk guy but now even less. If he was going to be with Quinn when they got Beth back, I didn't want him to be tricky. If this was just a Puck thing? He could do whatever he wanted. But involving my girl? No.

Wait, my girl? Seriously Roxy? Damn, How could I be so stupid. We weren't... We didn't... Gosh, why was it all so complicated? I turned my head a little bit to look at her. She was so beautiful, looking at some music sheet with a little frown, too concentrated on trying to understand the staves. I couldn't leave her with Puck. No.

But then there was all this New Directions versus the Troubletones thing. Should I...? It was seeing Finn, but then thinking about Mercedes, and also about what the hell did FInn and Quinn talk about the other day. And, what's worse, I couldn't ask anyone for advice, because all my closest friends are part of the issue. Why the hell did everything have to be so complicated?

...

"So, hi" Quinn whispered to me as we all went to the auditorium. Mr Schue told us he had something to show us there so, instead of our regular choir room practice, today we wwere foing to the big place.

"Hi" I whispered. "What do you think Mr Schue is going to show us?"

"I hope it's not another performance with a Journey song" she chuckled, making me laugh.

"I truly believe we've sung their entire record collection" I giggled. Was it the appropriate time? "So, about the other day..."

"The other day?" she asked confused.

"Yeah, well, you said you wanted to tell me something but then... I don't know, it's as if the universe didn't want us to talk".

"Oh, yeah, that" she said. "It was nothing important, though".

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, totally".

"What are you doing here?" Rachel asked the Troubletones who, inexplicably, were also standing on the stage with us. Guess I'd have to talk to Quinn later.

"Shelby told us she had something to show us What are you doing here?" Mercedes asked, confused as well.

"Mr Schue told us the same thing" Finn uttered.
