For me, Christmas was the best day of the year. I walked in the choir room to see everyone decorating our new tree.

"Merry Christmas everybody!" I screamed as I ran to the tree happy as a kid would be.

"Dude you look like you bought every single Christmas merch on the state" Artie said looking right at me. I bursted into laughter but he was right, I was wearing a reindeer and snowflake sweater, reindeer socks and red Christmas ball earrings.

"What can I say?" I giggled. "I'm Christmas biggest fan".

"I think it's adorable" Sam said and he kissed my cheek making me blush.

"Hey, guys. What's this?" Mr Schue asked entering the classroom.

"We're trying to get into the Christmas spirit, Mr Schue, even though Roxy is Christmas personified" Finn quickly uttered making everyone laugh. "Christmas is totally my favorite holiday. And, check out this awesome tree! Roxy and I found it in the side of the road, it must have fell of some guy's car".

"And the ornaments?" our teacher inquired.

"The guy who lives next door finally killed of his elderly mother and when they carted him off they left the house, like, wide open so... I think she was a holiday hoarder" Santana proclaimed proudly.

"And the presents?"

"I lifted them from a display at the mall. But don't worry, they're empty" Puck said.

"Guys, look, I appreciate the effort, but this isn't what Christmas is supposed to be like" Mr Schuester scolded us.

"For us it is" Mercedes defended us. "This tree is like a mascot for the Glee Club. We won Sectionals two years in a row and, according to everyone at this school we still suck. Early this morning Tina, Mike and I got slushied".

"I'm pretty sure they just added food coloring to real slush from the parking lot" Mike mumbled.

"You can eat that you know?" Lauren whispered.

"No, no" our teacher interrumpted us. "I am not gonna let you guys throw yourselves a pity party. Look, I'm the first one to say that things haven't turned out exactly how I would have liked them this year but Christmas is all about being grateful for the things that did".

"Isn't that Thanksgiving?" Puck interrumpted.

"And, this year, Glee Club is going to lend a hand to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Children and Youth program right here in Lima" Mr Schue declared.

"How are we going to do that?" Rachel asked.

"The only way we know how: by singing about it. We're going to go classroom to classroom caroling to raise money for McKinney-Vento".

"Wait, classrooms in this school?" Tina mumbled. "Like, with students in them?"

"Well, if there are not students in them, there will be no one to put money in the collection box while we sing" he said as if it was obvious.

"We're gonna be killed" Quinn said.

"I don't want to die in Christmas" I said as I pouted. "That's like the saddest thing ever".

"No guys, it's Christmas. A time for miracles. We got to try this" Finn said, putting his arm around me.

"Finn's right" Mr Schue uttered. "So let's start rehearsing. This year Glee Club's going all Santa".

...

After a disastrous attempt of caroling that ended with lots of insults and even a teacher throwing us a shoe that would have hit me if it hadn't been for Mike and his fast reflexes, we all went to the choir room to figure out what we were going to do.
