I'd spent the afternoon with Ned and we had a lot of fun, but when I went home that evening, MJ called me.
"Hey MJ, what's up? Are you still with Lyra?”
“Hi Peter, yes I am. I have to be brief, Lyra is waiting for me in her room.”
"Did something happen?”
“Yes, we met Cloe and Lilian earlier on the street. You know, those friends from Flash and… ”
She gave a very detailed account of what had happened and I was shocked. “Lyra actually forbade me to tell you about it, but you know, I think she takes a lot more with her than she shows us. Anyway, I thought it might be good if you could come here before school tomorrow. And even if she didn't want you to know about it, I think she really needs you, even if she doesn't always say that.“
"Sure I'll come over, thanks for telling me anyway.”
I hung up and hurried home, where I slipped into my suit. Spider-Man should pay Flash a visit. I swung quickly through the city to his house. There he was standing in the garden. He was alone. Perfect.
"Omg, Spider-Man!"
"Yes, Spider-Man. I just wanted to let you know that I'm watching you and I have to say you're a real bastard!”
I approached him somewhat threateningly.
“You should really change your behavior, you and your errand boys hurt others. And if nothing changes, I'll have to come over again and then I'll be less friendly! Roger that?”
He stared at me, puzzled and somewhat intimidated. "S-sure.", he stuttered.
"Good!"
I disappeared into the darkness again.
