It had been almost a week now that I hadn't seen Peter. The bright spot of my day - today Riley and Michelle would come over. It was Sunday and we had decided to spend the day together. Inevitably, this meeting had to take place at my home, as I wasn't allowed out. They finally came in the early afternoon.

“Finally we're doing something together again. You haven't had much time for us lately!”, MJ complained.

"Yes I know. I'm sorry. ”

“Come on, let's go to your room first. ”

Riley sat down on the carpet in front of my bed in my room, MJ sat next to her and I sat across from them.

"You meant you wanted to talk to Flash, did you already?", Riley asked me.

“No, I haven't had the opportunity yet, but I'll do it tomorrow!“

Call us afterwards and tell us how it went.”, MJ demanded.

"I will."

"Do you fancy video games?", MJ asked us.

Riley and I nodded, so MJ got up to go into the living room and set everything up. She knew her way around my home well, which is why she could do this on her own. Riley and I stayed in my room that long. She was about to say something, but Michelle was already calling us. We went to her in the living room and sat on the couch. MJ gave us the controller and also sank down on the sofa. MJ, Riley, and I had a lot of fun. We hadn't really spent time together for a long time, so it was all the nicer to catch up on that now. After the video games, we went back to my room, put on face masks, and talked forever. We laughed and lay on the carpet and it got later and later. At around 10:00 p.m. MJ received a message.

“My mum, I have to go! I'll see you at school tomorrow. Bye!”

“Bye!”, Riley shouted and I and Michelle left my room and then the apartment.

I sat on my bed and looked at Riley expectantly.

"What?"

"You wanted to say something earlier."

She sat down next to me on the bed and looked at me a little worried.

"I wanted to talk about Peter."

"Why what about him?"

"He is like he was before your relationship. You know, somehow a little sad and again as shy as when you weren't together yet."

"Do you know why?"

"No, I just wanted to tell you. Hopefully you can see each other again soon. Speaking of which… is it now easier to tell him what you are feeling?”

A lump formed in my throat, I knew I had to tell him, I wanted to tell him. I wanted to be more open with him. Every day I didn't tell him I felt bad.

"No but soon! Certainly! He promised me that we would go away together for a few days as soon as we no longer have any contact ban. I think I'll tell him then, then we'll be among ourselves and won't be disturbed either. But for that I have to talk to Flash first, so that we can see each other again.”

Riley grinned at me suggestively.

"Don't look like that!" I warned her with a grin.

"So you're going away, mmh?! All alone, several days?! Uuuh!”

“Stop it! You don't need to make allusions! We just need some time for ourselves and a break from everything here.”

“Good, okay. If you say that..."

-Monday morning-

On the way to school, I thought about what to say to Flash. How should I convince someone like him to help me? To tell the truth, which probably got himself into trouble. I absolutely had to meet him alone, without his friends. I looked for him all day and after school I saw him leave the building. I quickly ran after him, making my way through the other students. Flash seemed to be in a great hurry, almost impossible to catch up with him. His lead got bigger and bigger, so I ran. I ran through the crowd on the sidewalk, bumped into a number of people and almost lost sight of him. But then I finally caught up with him, grabbed his arm and dragged him to a bench.

"Sit down!"

"Lyra, what do you want from me? I thought you don't speak to me willingly.”

“You will listen to me now and you will help me! You have to tell Mr. Baker that the letter was from you and that none of this is true! Please!”

“Okay, I'll do it. I screwed up and I know that.”

“Wait what? I don't have to persuade you further?”

“No. I'm not such an ass as everyone thinks I'm only doing what I'm ecpected to do. Better said what my friends expect me to do."

"Then just stop being like that! You find better friends ... One question, if you are actually not like that, you don't want anything from me, do you?”

“I think you're nice, but I'm not into you and actually I don't think Peter and the others are losers either. I guess I owe you a few excuses.”

“Yes, of course.“

"I'm sorry for what I said to you and Peter and how I touched you and I shouldn't have kissed you. I'm sorry! But especially the action after the Homecoming Ball, that was really bad and I don't expect you to forgive me ... Do you have any permanent damage to your hand? Because of the car door?”

“No, I haven't. I will forgive you if you come with me right now to tell the truth! And you should also apologize to Peter."

-Peter-

After school finished, I walked down the street looking for a place to hide where I could slip into my Spider-Man suit. I finally found a suitable place to change. Now all I had to do was find some criminals to stop. In the last few days I haven't been feeling particularly well, still do not. I have no idea why, because I actually thought this was over and I would have left it behind, but now I felt like I hadn't felt in months. Alone, sad, afraid, as if I were again exactly the loser that others had always seen in me. I needed a distraction, so I swung myself in the air, but I didn't get far. After a few blocks, I stopped and lay flat on the roof so no one could see me.
Down in the street I saw Flash with Lyra!
They sat on a bench and talked to each other as normal, they didn't argue. I was too far away to hear anything. What were they doing there? Why was Lyra talking to him? Great! Even more uncertainty. They stood up, but their ways did not part. No. They walked down the street together. I knew I could trust Lyra. She didn't want anything from Flash, but I would still have liked to have known more, watching after them didn't do me any good either, so I kept swinging through the city. However, towards home.
