When the others saw that we were together again the next day, I had to explain to everyone that everything was fine again.

"Well, luckily, then we can meet again today as a group.", Mike said.

Everyone agreed and so was the appointment. Riley suggested bowling, and since no one objected to it, that too was settled. Ellie and MJ would pick me up that afternoon to go to the bowling alley together. At 3:00 p.m. I went down to the street where MJ and Ellie were already waiting.

"So you're back together now, you and Peter?", MJ asked.

“Yes, we clarified what had to be clarified. I'm really really happy to have him back.”

“I'm happy for you two, you are such a beautiful couple. It would have been a shame!", Ellie said.

We walked to the bowling alley which was very close and in front of the entrance we already saw Ned and Mike . After a few minutes, Peter and Cole came around the corner and Riley came rushing up. Inside we chose a bowling alley.

"I'll win, I'll finish you all!", Ellie announced with a laugh.

Ned and Cole prepared everything while Ellie, Riley and I stood a little apart and talked. In the middle of the conversation, my eyes wandered over to MJ and Peter. Peter's gaze fell on me too. Although he seemed to be enjoying himself, it looked a lot to me like he still felt guilty. So I gave him my best smile, trying to look as happy as possible to show him that he didn't need to worry. He smiled back, ended the conversation with MJ, and came over to me. I also broke away from my conversation and came towards him.

"Are you okay?", I asked him.

"Sure, why shouldn't I?"

I just shrugged my shoulders.

“No idea, just wanted to ask.”

“Everything is fine! You're here, we spend time with our friends and just do normal things.”

I nodded happily and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Peter took my hand, squeezed it briefly and then pulled me to the others. Now we could finally start and Ellie hadn't promised too much, she was really good. Actually, none of us was really bad at bowling, that was a good thing because we could all have fun. Although Mike and I were pretty good too, we didn't stand a chance against Ellie.

She had won.

We have been there for a long time but little by little they all said goodbye. In the end, only Riley and I were left, and since we both didn't feel like going home, we went together. We even made a little detour so as not to arrive too quickly.

“I have to say, I think it's really great when we're out as a group. You and Peter, Mike and I, Ellie and Cole and MJ and Ned."

"Yes, me too."

"Okay, I have to say that now ... you are really lucky with Peter. Me with Mike too, of course, and I really love him, but Peter is very different. Mike always tries to look cool and sometimes he doesn't even notice how I'm doing and stuff. But when I see you and Peter ... that- that's just so real. He always knows how you are, you can tell how important you are to him. Make sure that nobody takes it away from you!”

“I will! It's nice that you see Peter like that, but you're just as important to Mike!"

"Yes, I know, but he doesn't show it like Peter does, especially not when others are around."

We talked a little longer, but then we reached my front door and Riley went on her way.
